“A little piece of paradise ..”

This place is just what we needed to get away from real life and reset ourselves. Only an hour and half from Auckland, this beautiful little get away place is set in a private bush location, a quick 3 - 5 minutes drive to beaches, bars and popular tourist locations, but while in this little paradise dwelling, you would never know the rest of the world existed. With a private spa and a stary night sky, you can't go wrong. Great place to recharge the batteries, or just get away from the rat race for a weekend. It was hard to leave, but life goes on. Clean and tidy with all the amenities you need. 😎 Also, pet friendly... take your dog with you, why should they miss out ..

We absolutely loved our stay at Ponga eco-lodge! The unit was spotless and super comfortable, with an amazing bed that we slept like babies in. It had everything we needed to cook and relax, including towels and spa towels. We appreciated the private setting despite being close to the main house. The little walk around the property was a lovely touch. Plus, being dog-friendly was a huge bonus for us! The warmth and peacefulness of the place were perfect, and we didn't hear a peep from outside when we closed up. Highly recommend!

“Relaxing, private and delicious”

The Apartment was light, bright and surrounded by gorgeous trees, with a view out over the tree ferns to the valley beyond. Ponga Eco Lodge is a quiet haven, comfortable and relaxing. Jack - the Host - was friendly but unobtrusive, and made us feel very welcome. We had a wonderful two night stay, and would love to return for more. Beautiful location with stunning views from the balcony. Amazing to have the hot tub and a very comfortable bed. Can use equipment in the garage and ping pong table too, we had a great stay.
