Overview
You can walk to Cathedral Cove from Hahei Beach Resort, follow the beach and connect to the Cathedral Cove walkway (the walk takes about 1 hour each way). Not all accommodation has a lounge area, sofa, TV. There is no shared communal lounge area.

“Fabulous place to stay, right next to the beach, really wonderful vibe.”
The resort is very well laid out, in a perfect location next to the beach, and has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Our Coastal Cabin was a good size; the beds were comfortable; the showers were hot and strong; the room and bathroom were very clean; and the resort's facilities were great. We had a very yummy pizza from Woody's for dinner. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially when we discovered that we had left our passports in our room. They went out of their way to assist us and, as a result, our passports were couriered to our next destination. We are so grateful to them. We wished we were able to stay much longer than 1 night, but we will definitely come back to this beautiful place.

“You can't use the potential of this accommodation in one night”
We had booked a comfort cabin. There were two of us and we had two more bunk beds in the cabin. It was probably our mistake when booking, but there should have been only one bed. The space was cramped and the kitchen could only accommodate one at a time.

Fabulous location close to the beach even though not overlooking it. All functional and clean. Drying facilities and tap outside useful after beach. So close to the beach.
