“Very nice house with very friendly hosts”

It was a very nice house with everything you needed. The hosts were very friendly and kind. Really enjoyed the stay

Pam and Bill are the loveliest couple and very thoughtful. They provided a shovel and beach towels and advised the best time to go to Hot Water Beach, and Bill even dropped us off to the start of the Cathedral Cove walk. We did a load of wash and Pam kept an eye on it while we were out as it was a day with lots of little showers. It felt like staying with family.

The hosts were extremely nice and helpful. The apartment was very nice and staying there felt like home. The location was great. Highly recommend!

Great little kiwi sleep out on the back of the host’s own home. Plenty of local knowledge given to us by the hosts who were very helpful.

“A wonderful discovery”

What an unexpectedly fine place to stay. The little cottage is added at the back of the regular house. It has a built on landing for outdoor eating, a pretty garden, and adequate parking right there on the grass. The hosts are delightful, love to talk and find out how you are doing, and have lots of ideas of things to do. The cottage is a block or so from lovely Hahei beach, with tourist things to do, if you are up to that sort of thing. It is close to the little town. The Pour House we went to had excellent food for dinner; the general store had what little we needed. Since the Cathedral Cove walk was closed due to a slip, so we drove over to Shakespeare Cliff Lookout and spent a delightful day on Lonely Bay beach nearby.

Nice and quiet and good outdoor area to sit at the table. Shower was decent and good cooking facilities and fridge/freezer. Comfy couches. Off-street parking. Easygoing and pleasant owners.
