A classic kiwi Bach dream - retro fittings, very close to everything you could want and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept on. Paula is a very friendly and knowledgeable host and overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Location was quiet with a pleasant 5min walk to the beach. Loved I could wear bare feet and walk on the grass with no prickles to the beach. The host was very responsive when the hot water stopped working as it had run out of gas and made sure it was working before leaving. The provision of clean bath towels in the middle of our stay was appreciated, as was the availability of beach towels. The courtyard, seating, privacy, darkness (could see the stars), and BBQ were all great. Having a broom was useful to sweep the sand from inside.

“Misleading images. Overpriced Youth Hostel. Renegging Host.”
We did not like anything about the property. The photos are very misleading. Why feature a picture of a beach you can’t see from the property or show a large house. These are two different properties on the same section.

You advertised a house. It was a ( externally - renovated only ) batch or hut. Why advertise as house????????? No kitchen table or chairs. No laundry. Coffee tea sugar see photos. How old was the sugar and coffee that it did not fall down when jars tipped upside down. One teabag only. Very poor on your part to advertise without scrutiny. Very poor on Owners part.

“Cute little place at central location”
Location was great! It's very close to the beach and to the shops/pub. There is a full kitchen, including oven and stove so you can cook here, and a full size fridge.
