Excellent shower cubicles, good hot water. Cheerful host. Solid beds with makeshift privacy screens. Close to bus station. Decent kitchen, would satisfy 95% of users.

“Ruco feels like home away from home”

I loved everything about Ruco! I will be so happy going back :) There are so many beautiful books throughout the guesthouse! The architecture and decoration are so special! And the owner and staff are super friendly. Ruco is one of those rare places that gives you a sense of home while you travel. I’m grateful!

Beautiful guesthouse. It felt very nice to be there, every corner had a nice touch and aesthetic details. Communication with the owner was smooth and helpful. Beds were comfortable, like the coat hangers, curtains. the little box to store small things next to the lamp. Large locker. Dorm room has a good size, it's not cramped. Very cosy kitchen - fully equipped.

Beautifully decorated and well maintained space. Central location. Near to a bus stop from Shin-Yamaguchi and walking distance to a range of restaurants and city sights. Great facilities. High pressure shower and plenty of gear in the kitchen. Very helpful staff on site.

Nice place, decoration stylish. Staff is kind and nice and gave good restaurant recommendations. Room (dorm) was either too big nor too small, right size. Towels available at the front desk for 100yen. A surprise in Japan's countryside!

“Perfect calm place central in Hagi”

I slept in a bunk bed in a shared room. The staff is friendly and readily gave recommendations for eating and activities with a handy map. Breakfast was simple but good, with great coffee. I recommend it. For a fantastic price, you get a fine calm environment to wind down after exploring Hagi, plenty of place to put bags and your stuff. Finally, the location is just perfect: close to the bus station, the information center and great restaurants, and an easy bike ride away from both sides of Hagi.

Good location and very helpful staff that gave us noce recommendations for dinner. Beds with sufficient privacy and clean. the cafe is nice and chill. It had all the necessary amenities and very nice decoration.
