The staff, or rather, one lady in particular who seemed to be running the whole show. Truly Herculean. She was at once the receptionist, the server, the cleaner and the cook. She made us feel very welcome and cared for. Second to that, the location, amazing views and right next to the UNESCO listed Haghpat Monastery. Finally, breakfast was served at a time of our choosing and was delicious. The dinners were equally tasty and full on traditional Armenian. This hotel is Armenian hospitality at its best.

All people of the family and working at the place are so nice, friendly and always willing to help. I had 3 great days over there. The food they offer is excellent. Coming back to Armenia Hagpath hotel is a must for me. Always worth a visit.

We had a wonderful 4 - night stay at Haghpat Hotel, right next to Haghpat Monastery, with my sister-in-law! The room was cozy, clean and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. The hosts were extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel!

A perfect place, right next to the monastery, large clean rooms with bathrooms, absolutely excellent breakfast! The hotel also has a cosy tavern with great food for very reasonable prices. The owner is super nice and friendly, highly recommended!

The most hospitable hosts I probably ever met. I felt like I'm home. This little Hotel is owned by a family, all of them are super kind, caring and welcoming. One part of the Hotel is a restaurant where you can taste very delicious homemade Armenian food. (Highly recomend) The location is also good, Haghpat Monastery is in the neighborhood, and you can reach the neighbouring towns (Alaverdi, Akhtala) easily. If you arrive by car you can park in the front of the Hotel, there is a big parming lot with camera but the Hotel also has an Airport shuttle service from Yerevan.

Nice host, they made us dinner late evening. Location is next to the monastery, you see it from the balcony. Breakfast is delicious: eggs, bread, local cheese, jams. We had a great time there!

“Must visit !”
Our stay at Marine's hotel, located at the foot of Hagpat Monastery, was unforgettable. The hotel exudes a unique energy, embodying the holiness and history of the area. Marine's hospitality was exceptional; she ensured we arrived safely and welcomed us with a warm cup of tea. Breakfast was unbelievable , featuring homemade jams, fresh bread, and a delicious omelette with vegetables. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-heated, providing a cozy atmosphere. I truly wished we could extend our stay. This hotel is an excellent choice for families, offering a spacious restaurant hall downstairs that accommodates larger groups. Highly recommended!

The village is on the plateau, lot of parking spaces, location near the monastery. It was beautiful. The host was very friendly and helpful.
