The host was amazing. She picked us up where the bus left us. We had the best homemade dinner of our trip. She took a us to Yerevan.

“Wonderful little hotel in a beautiful setting.”

This is a really lovely family run hotel in a beautiful setting. The family are very kind and friendly, the son speaks good English however when he was at school we used Google Translate to communicate without issue. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, and the bed and pillows comfortable. We had a fridge and kettle in our room and I was also able to use the hotel washing machine which was much appreciated. The dining area on the large balcony outside of the rooms has a wonderful view across the mountains and down to the garden and swimming pool. Victoria is a great cook and we enjoyed delicious breakfasts and dinners each day. The hotel is just a short walk to the beautiful Haghpat Monastery. We would definitely stay here again.

“A piece of paradise in Haghpat”

What an amazing place to stay! The view from the main balcony is only the start! Everything else will blow you away. This family-run hotel is beautiful. The owners are the sweetest people and they did everything to make us feel comfortable. My husband even got sick during our time here - we stayed an extra night and they gave us meds to help him get better. They took such good care of him and cooked foods so he can feel better. The rooms are large and very comfy. The best and pillows are great. The common area is great for talking to other travelers. They also provide free tea and coffee. What's another great thing is that they can prepare supper at the hotel too. A delicious home-cooked meal that's different every day. And the breakfast is amazing - so much food and so delicious! The value for the money is unparalleled. Don't even hesitate and book a stay here. You won't find better in Haghpat!

“Beautiful family-run hotel in the mountains”

The location and view from the hotel was incredible, and the family running the hotel were extremely welcoming and hospitable. Eating the home cooked dinner on the terrace overlooking the valley was a holiday highlight. We were cycling and there was plenty of room to accommodate our bikes - and being able to have a refreshing swim after riding up the hill to Haghpat was fantastic. The home cooked breakfast in the morning was also beautiful. Wished we were able to stay longer.

“Lovely guesthouse with amazing view and delicious food”

We LOVED staying at this place. The family that runs the guesthouse is very hospitable and caring. It’s spotlessly clean, the food is delicious and we very much enjoyed the pool and the ping pong table. The view is amazing and there are beautiful hiking trails nearby. We stayed for two nights but I wish we could have stayed longer. 100% recommended.

“I really liked the place”

I am absolutely in love not only with the magical view but also with the kindness of the hosts. I stayed for 3 days and had amazing food in an atmosphere of complete relaxation. I was working from the hotel, and once had a problem with the WiFi, but the hosts fixed it within 5 minutes of me telling them. The hosts also assisted me with directions to reach Sanahin (15 kilometers away from Haghpat) It was cold in Lori, so I couldn’t use the pool, but it was still clean. The hotel is a 7-8 minute walk from the Haghpat Monastery, so if you are heading to Haghpat, I highly recommend this place!

This is a family hotel with the comfortable room and just amazing view. Hosts are super hospitable couple, who makes you feel at home. The breakfast was very good. Room was clean and specious. There is parking place in the yard. Haghpat monastery is in walking distance. I highly recommend this place!
