We really liked this hotel. It looks very presentable and is very cozy. Everything is done to make the guest feel comfortable. The staff is very friendly! We rented an apartment. It was clean, renovated, and quite spacious. We really liked the linens and mattresses, as well as the heated floors! The shower was also very comfortable! In addition, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were provided. The master bedroom has very convenient cabinets with shelves. The hallway is very spacious. The kitchen has the necessary utensils. The hotel is surrounded by forest tundra, which is quite nice. We once paid for dinner. It was very expensive, but exquisite and delicious. Breakfasts (included in the price) are also good. Cross-country skiing trails are nearby.

I like the location and the outdoor pool with sauna was amazing. The best was the closeness to nature and the easy access to cross country skiing. Free ski bus to the slopes was also a plus.

A lot of miscomunication on the check in. We got the wrong information twice and they did not answer on our email.

Conveniently located near to Hafjell ski resort. Restaurant and bar inside and a few options around. Minutes away from Gaiastova (apres ski).

Everything was perfect, the apartment was nice and cost and had a beautiful view, location was great so you could start cross country skiing right from the hotel. Food was excellent in the restaurant, but also the little kitchen in the apartment was perfectly equipped to prepare snacks

Breakfast was poor with just a few basics

Very nice view, nice heated floor, with simple kitchenware. Breakfast was simple and nice.

“Best place to spend your winter break!”

We had a great stay at Ilsetra. We absolutely love the location!!! The staff were very responsive and made us feel very welcome. Apartments are small but have everything you need. Breakfast is very good as well. We will definitely return next year!!

“Great cozy hotel, ideal for cross-country skiing vacation”

Very nice hotel with rooms like small apartments, with a stove and cooking possibilities. Cozy, warm rooms with floor heating. Great place to stay for a winter vacation, for cross-country skiing, for example. The ski tracks are directly outside the hotel buildings, which are all wonderfully decorated in traditional Norwegian way. Delicious breakfast, but be fast - the breakfast is until 10, but if you come at 9:40, many tasty things are already gone!
