“Home-Away-from-Home at the Gates of Jirisan”

Everything: (1) great Location: 6km easy drive up the valley from the Hwagye Village (shops, big market, restaurants, cafes), about 2km from the Ssanggyesa Budhist Temple (2 tracks start from there, one to Buril Falls) - lovely valley with tea plantations at the foot hills of the Jirisan National Park. A week’s worth of decent hiking within easy drive of the house; about an hour drive to the coast (check Suncheon National Garden + Wetlands combo! well worth the visit!!) (2) Facilities: two large very comfy beds, kitchenette with stove, fridge/freezer, rice cooker, large TV, good wifi, large bathroom with shower + toilet, another large room with Jacuzzi, Shower, table+4 chairs, barbecue; washing machine, ample parking; squeaky clean; (3) owner very friendly and helpful, he would supply us with home made rice beer (not sure what it was but it tasted very nice) and was always available to help if need was; (4) very little traffic, virtually none during the night, some dog barking up-and-down the valley, but nothing light earplugs wouldn’t fix;

We loved our stay here! The hosts went out of their way to make our stay in Hadong seamless and enjoyable. Our travel in Hadong was made possible all thanks to the hosts. They helped us with the booking of the local taxi tour, which enabled us to get around. For dinner, they also helped to set up the bbq set at the balcony of our room, and we had a cosy and delicious bbq dinner. We highly recommend this place!

The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The owners were very kind - they took me and another group of guests hiking on a nearby mountain, then brought me to meet a local tea producer. I only stayed for one night this time, but I hope I can visit again in the future!

“Warm and welcoming host, great location in Hadong”

The host was REALLY kind. He even brought us some makkeoli (traditional Korean alcoholic rice drink). The host was quick to respond to my messages. The room was big, clean, and the bed was really comfortable. Nice location in beautiful Hadong.

Really nice comfortable room for a family of 5. 2 bathrooms with a spa bath, so much more than we expected! Also very friendly host.

The property was clean and well equipped. Enjoyed the bbq although it was really cold to have dinner in bbq area. So we bbq and brought in the main room.

The owner is friendly and helpful. He provided us with restaurant suggestions in the area and even showed us the way (drove with us) to one of the restaurants nearby when I was not able to key it in my car navigation system. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Cute pup on the property too! (though I always get anxious whenever it runs onto the driveway)

The host was super friendly and helpful. the place is very clean and comfortable and the value was excellent. and there were two lovely puppies who were absolutely the cutest.

The host is so warm and welcoming. The view is fantastic. the whole place felt good, we have had a wonderful time.

The host was very friendly and helpful. We couldn't rent a car as our license wasn't acceptable, so we had to rely on public transport. We were stranded on the way to Star Way Hadong and we called the host for help and he came to pick us up and sent us to the location and eventually sent us back to the hotel. We were the only guests in the hotel and the Billiard was a good surprise. He also picked us up at a Cafe when we couldn't get a cab at night and even offered to send us to the bus terminal when we checked out. The room is very clean though the property is a bit old.
