The hospitality shown was exceptional, and the common area is lovelly.

Whole of the accomodation is clean and cosy! Ofcourse, bedrooms are too :) Beds are really comfortable, and I fell in sleep immediately. Breakfast was nice! I really enjoyed coffee with nice foods! However, the best point is the staffs. They were really kind and helpful!

“Lovely stay at White Rose Inn”

Rob, Alamo and staff were very helpful.

Loved the location, White Rose is set in a pretty village with loads of character and charm. Within a short walk are a varied choice of restaurants for dinner. A very quiet location set apart from the huge commercial hotels and resort buildings. White Rose offers a complimentary shuttle service to the resort, a 3 minute drive. Amazing staff, all incredibly warm and accommodating. Exceptionally clean.

This is our second time staying here. Great location, everything we needed. Rob and Ayami are lovely and very accommodating.

The inn is like a western style chalet rather than a more Japanese style one. Expect the feeling of staying in a British style inn.

Exactly what we wanted. Great location (we did have a car) to explore both Appi Kogen and surrounding areas. Very friendly and accomodating. Kids and hubby loved the pizzas at Ollie’s Follie (attached to the property)

Felt like home not only coz it was run by family. The Host Ayami San is flexible, generous with her time despite her busy schedule, friendly, warm and kind. We were late getting there as we only managed to catch the last train up from Tokyo and no fuss on check in time before 10pm. Felt like home also coz there was a lovely living room, dining room, n everything we needed … to shovel snow, the rooms were nice and clean. Ski resort was near enough to walk to, if we wanted. And lots of lovely restaurants around. And an amazing outdoor onsen nearby too! It was so nice having the snow fall on us as we bathed and have beer/ice cream right after! We plan to go back as often as we can!

Ayami is a wonderful host. She went out of her way to make our stay memorable.

Ayami was an exceptional host, the property was immaculate and nothing was too much trouble for her. She made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The shuttle to and from the ski lift was great.

Rob was very helpful as we were lucky enough to have a blizzard whilst at white rose inn so it was difficult to get out for dinner and Rob provided a meal for all his hungry patrons. We only saw Ayami once and didn't get to meet the children which was disappointing but realise everyone was snowed in.
