The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The pool was amazing. The location was peaceful and easy drive to Sigirya and elephant safaris

From the receptionist to the room service, and to the restaurant their hospitality was great. Friendly staff and they have given pesonal attention to my family and hope the same with other guests as well. This resort is well maintained. Calm and peaceful.

We had a fantastic stay at Sungreen Resort Habarana. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the pool was perfect for relaxing. The food was also delicious. Highly recommended for a peaceful vacation.

We had a fabulous stay at Sungreen Resort. The room was large and airy, the bed comfortable and the shower and bathroom good. The balcony was lovely and we saw a wide variety of bird life from it and in the wonderful, peaceful gardens. The staff were great and very attentive. We went half board and enjoyed the buffet style meals - there was plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner. The pool was superb! There was a well-equipped gym but we didn't use it. This is a good base for the many attractions around Habarana and it is easy to book trips from the many providers in town.

“Extraordinary hospitality”

It’s a very idyllic place and you can really relax there. Unfortunately, spa and wellness ( which is listed on booking) is currently not open but Mr. Lahiru went above and beyond to have it resolved in the most convenient way for us. All the staff makes you feel very welcome with their extraordinary behavior. I can recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax in the nature.

The entire staff goes above and beyond to care for their guests; they are consistently smiling, cheerful, and always ready to help with anything we needed. A special thank you must go to the manager, Lahiru. He is the definition of the right person in the right place. Lahiru assisted us with every query, even the most unusual or challenging ones—truly nothing seemed impossible for him. His approach is highly professional, yet fundamentally human and genuine. His dedication made our stay seamless and memorable. We also want to acknowledge Nimasha from the reception team. She is wonderfully open, easily connects with guests, and genuinely cares about their experience. Her friendly demeanor added so much to our welcome. This beautiful location, nestled in nature, is made exceptional by its people. It's also a great base for exploring the nearby wonders of Dambulla and Sigiriya. We highly recommend this hotel—you will arrive as a guest and leave as a friend!

The swimming pool was very welcome after a hot day. The staff were good at helping us to arrange visits and transport. The gardens were lovely with shady spots and swings to sit on.

It was a great place to stay. We had a warm welcome by the drummer and the staff, lighting the lamp in the traditional way. The rooms were spacious, clean with comfi beds. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. In particular, Sulochana Disanayeka was very helpful and attentive. Nimasha the receptionist was very helpful too. They both went out of their way to help us. The laundry service was excellent, washed all our cloths at a very short notice. They really went out of their way that night to get it all done the next morning. Really appreciated the service. Breakfast was excellent.

Fantastic big pool. Warm welcome from staff. Hotel organised transport from railway station. Great value for money. Fantastic location to explore some key historical and heritage sites of Sri Lanka. Don’t forget the elephants too!
