It's just off the main road but feels secluded The bedroom was comfortable and spacious with bathroom and loo attached. Quiet AC. Owner and family all charming and helpful We ate good Sri Lankan curry and rice in their house and a lovely breakfast of string hoppers and sweet hoppers eggs and Dal. And mangoes and bananas from their own garden. Delicious! They are currently building a swimming pool outside the chalet bedrooms so the view not great currently but will be excellent once pool is finished and landscaped

“A good option for nature lovers on a budget”

The biggest positive impact comes from the owners of this small family business. Before even arriving at their property they were super responsive with answering any questions we had and the same was happening during our stay. They were preparing our breakfast according to our request every morning, even at 6am when needed for one day. Also, they cared to handle any issues we had during our stay. The property is a bit far from the city at a somewhat remote and quiet piece of land. An unpaved road connects the property to the main road, but a car can go through also. All rooms look at the same garden and there is a lot of land around. The rooms are quite basic with a bit outdated wooden furniture. There is an AC unit, but no TV or fridge.

The host and his wife were so nice and friendly! They are really wonderful people :) As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a fresh coconut to drink. The bed was nicely decorated and everything was super clean. The location is soo BEAUTIFUL! It's peaceful and quiet, so you can definitely relax and feel safe. Also, the breakfast was really delicious too, would recommend! It's a bit far from town, but you can get a TukTuk or lend bicycles for a small price. But the town is not that interesting, so we didn't mind being a bit far away. Luckily, there's a small shop, you can reach within 5 minutes on foot. It has everything you need. We loved staying here and the staff helped with everything and made sure, we're satisfied. Thank you so much!

“A real gem of a find”

Lovely home stay. We stayed in a room without AC and it was totally fine as it had been built with consideration of its surroundings. Bathroom good size and properly made for a wet floor so you don’t slip. Shower was great. Slept well. Owner and his family were really hospitable. They arranged Turk Tuk, taxis and helped us with bus too giving really helpful advice. The breakfasts were generous and excellent. Reminded me of my own family’s cooking - this is proper food. We had dinner there every night too and highly recommend it, there was so much and we were stuffed and happy. The area is very tranquil, there are mosis at night but that’s the region and just take some repellent with you.

This is a really nice and quiet place with the host family being able to help you with all your requests - breakfast, laundry, dinner, transfers e.t.c The dinners were really good and the welcome coconut drink was appreciated!

“Fantastic homestay in the nature”

Hiru and her family are warm and very friendly, they talked to us about life in Sri Lanka every evening. Great and tasty breakfast was served in room terrace, we could enjoyed it at calm in the middle of nature. Dinner was delicious, one of the best we had. We loved their hospitality and felt at home. Room was clean, with huge and comfy bed and amazing view. They also arranged tuk tuk tour to Pindurangala and helped us to find bus connections. Definitely would come again. Thank you
