“Stay in Habanara. Reasonably priced.”

Quiet peaceful location. Good price. Tuk tuk tour of Dambulla and elephants en route was great. Nothing much other than train station and bus connections for communications in Habanara.

“Did the job! Lovely garden and breakfast.”

A stunning garden and really useful communal dining area. We were in the downstairs rooms which were clean, had comfortable beds with mosquito nets and good air conditioning which the owner waived the fee for. Space for luggage in the rooms was good. Excellent location which was quiet but near everything. Breakfast was excellent, lots of lovely Sri Lankan dishes.

The hosts were very kind and helpful. They organized a safari with guaranteed elephant viewing. They also arranged a massage at the spa and transportation to the cultural center for a regional dance performance. I highly recommend it.

“Great place to stay in Habarana”

A perfect place for plant lovers. It’s definitely worth booking a stay in the cabins, at least for one night. A highly recommended and peaceful spot, surrounded by nature.

This managing couple is cool, they arranged for me to see the dance show . They have more than 500 vases! Yup its a green garden indeed.

“Quality = price”

Good things: clean bedsheets, hot water, big breakfast, friendly owners, good location, AC, wifi, price. Compared price to quality, it is 10 out of 10, because it is extremely cheap. It is perfect for short stay! But I have to be honest, owners could renovate rooms at least a little bit and then take more money.

“Wonderful stay in a little garden paradise”

The owners are so lovely! They help you with everything and give you good recommandations. The breakfast is more than complete and various. The bed is comfortable and there’s a mosquito net. Nothing to complaint. You’ll feel in the jungle with this lovely garden and feel at home. I wish I could have stayed longer.

The room was acceptable, but the overall experience could be improved. The host was not particularly welcoming, and basic linens were given only upon request. Breakfast was quite simple. Given the price, we expected better facilities and amenities in the room.

Great value for money. It’s not a luxury hotel but it doesn’t try to be one either. Room and sheets were clean, ac and hot water, the place itself is nice and the staff were very nice and friendly.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. He helped us to organise a tour and transport and everything was fair priced. We also rented his scooter. The breakfast was good and the room was nice and clean. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our stay

“I recommmend”

I really like this house. Lot of work has been done. Wooden bridge with lighs in the night, swing in the jungle-garden, paintings in the din ing room are also the owner's. The sink in the bathroom is a work of art. You can feel, you are in the jungle, but you have a fridge in the room, wifi and filtered water is free of charge. You can pay a small fee for air conditioning. The host's family is really nice and can help with the trips.

Beautiful Tree Houses, hand built with rustic look, plants climbing, sun flooding in, the owners are a lovely family who answer any questions and will give a tour around. A few mins walk to town, ATM, bus stop. Breakfast tea, coffee, juice, and variety of local and western food . Quiet street near Lovely Spice garden with fabulous knowledgeable owner too. Lake not far, batik shops, central to Safari, Anuradhapura, Dambulla, Sigiriya. Will send friends here . Thank you!

Super friendly family, very helpful. great breakfast, I had some dietary restrictions and she made me something else and was really attentive. The room was super clean and the garden is beautiful. Highly recommended!:)
