A most beautifully located hotel. The gardens and grounds are truly wonderful. Rooms fantastic. Efficient wi fi and air con. Comfortable bed. Incredibly lovely large swimming pool. Great buffets! Breakfasts and dinners. Helpful and charming staff.

The hotel is located close to a lake, which is very beautiful during sunset and dawn. The room was nice, a little bit outdated, but with a nice view on the lake. Breakfast and dinner were very good, and staff also very helpful. You can see plenty of animals in the area, and it was quite impressive to see a giant lizard swimming in the pond close to the pool. It was also very nice to walk in the hotel park, have a seat on the benches or on the house on the tree.

Everything! This hotel is wonderful, the wild life, the grounds and the staff made it particularly memorable. We loved everything about it.

Everything was perfect. the lodge was big and clean, the place is big and very well cared. The breakfast and dinner were tasty with large varieties of food.

A stunning hotel, the staff were very welcoming on arrival and our room was huge and spotless. We loved the swimming pool, grounds of hotel and the hotel dining options with the food being super tasty and loved eating out over looking the pool and forest. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Pool is phenomenal, great for kids and adults. Lake views are gorgeous. Calm base for elephant safaris and exploring local area.

Amazing location, by the lake. So peaceful and the staff were super friendly. The room was such a good size, had all amenities needed for a luxury hotel stay. Check out is at 12pm which is perfect. The buffet for dinner and breakfast were exceptional!

The property showed its age in the bedroom /bathroom areas but more than makes up for, by the service offered by all departments starting from Krishantha (housekeeping - bedroom 39) Kamal (Front Office Baggage porter) and Gamini, Bandara, Sumith, Lalith (restaurant staff). It was the Stirling effort of these staff that made our stay memorable and incomparable. They are truly an asset to the John Keells Hotels Group. And, we will certainly return to Cinnamon Lodge because of the outstanding efforts put in by these staff members and few others in the restaurant whose name I have forgotten!! truly they are a credit to the organisation.

Gorgeous property and surroundings. Pool was amazing, loungers comfortable and high quality. The room was well kept and clean. We had a faulty socket in our room and someone from maintenance arrived in minutes and sorted it. Helpful safari / travel desk too.
