It shouldn't be listed as a hotel for tourists as it was more of an accommodation for tour drivers. During my stay I was the only female there I felt uncomfortable and chose to stay in my room instead. I was on arrival approached to purchase safari tours n other attractions. No water the next morning for a shower.. it shouldn't be advertised on this website.

Super friendly staff, exceptional service, quiet location despite being close to the main road. I felt very welcome and at home. Highly recommended property.

A nice house with wonderful big rooms. We were provided with some yummy yummy Sri Lankan breakfast every morning. Our host was very sweet and kind. And made sure that we had dinner served right at the time we had asked for.

The rooms were large and clean. And the two ladies are soo friendly and supportive. They helped us even to organise a jeep to visit Ritigala. The breakfast were delicious too

Family accommodation close to all must see (Sigirnya, Polonawura, Dambula). Fantastic service, rich and very tasty breakfast and dinner. The landlady even had beer ready for dinner. It was just perfect. You feel great here. You also don't have to worry about transportation around the area and safari arrangements. You have everything furnished quickly and at fair prices

“Wow Wow Wow accommodation not to be missed, great place a low price”

This must be the most welcoming accommodation in Habarana Sri Lanka. There was nothing too much trouble for the owner or her helper. It was a restful place and reflected the Sri Lanka countryside well yet the bus stop was about 50 metres away. (The owner had her daughter walk to the bus stop with me to ensure I got on the right one). The town centre is only about 1.5km away. I'm a bit of a fussy eater but this lady cooked me the most delicious dinners - no need to go into town unless you want to, she is a fabulous cook. The location is ideal for getting to Dambulla, Sigiriya, Polonnuwara the cultural triangle. All in all a great place to stay.

Worth for price. Super location, room and staff also.

The place was really great! The host was super welcoming, the food good priced and delicious. Really helpful to organise our tour to Sigiriya. The AC room was big and clean and the bed wow really comfortable! Located a bit outside the centre so it was really quiet and they have their own tuk tuk guy if you need to go get something.

Very big bedroom with large bathroom. Very clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Complementary juice and water on arrival and the breakfast was massive! I saved the flatbread and bananas to take with me and have for lunch. Very friendly and welcoming staff

The relation price benefit is excellent. The room was overall clean and the bed was big and comfortable. The lady was incredibly nice and she was flexible on keeping my breakfast for later after I came from a safari which ended way later than expected. On my arrival it was too late to have breakfast and I needed to leave for my next destination, she insisted and packed a delicious homemade food that I later had and enjoyed. Good homestay

Good location, very good hospitality, reasonable for the money you pay.

People are so much friendlier, worth every penny. Easily would recommend to anyone. Bedrooms, bathrooms are excellent and the food is delicious!
