The tree house is a pleasant place to stay. The main event are the birds. Small and large, of various colors. Behind the wall lives a group of peacocks that occasionally walk under the house. They have issues with their size. They think they are the size of pigeons. The location is close to the main intersection but far enough away that you can't hear the traffic. The village has everything you need, even a bank! I recommend visiting the surrounding lakes and villages. Easy walking, peaceful and full of animals. The people are friendly. The host can arrange a safari (with a selected guide/driver!). Mine was noticeably better than the others. The host has his own tuk-tuk and can take you around, which you can combine with a transfer to the next accommodation.

We stayed for one night on our way from Trincomalee to Colombo. Very friendly owner arranged a jeep safari to see elephants. Place is in a very good location in Habarana.

We had two home made breakfasts home which were simply amazing :) Unforgettable stay. An Hurulu jeep safari has been organized by Angry Birds owner upon our arrival in Habarana, it was excellent. Thank you very much.

Awesome place; Sounds of a jungle all around ; Plenty of birds, snakes but not mosquitoes, surprisingly! ( the property provides mosquito nest anyhow); Delicious home-made breakfast; The disclosure: no WiFi and hot water are not a problem if you’re prepared for it! And host was honest; Additionally, the host is extremely nice and he accommodated all my needs. Even further, he voluntarily picked me from the train station which saved me confusion with tuk tuk drivers. Highly recommended!

“Good stay in Habarana”

Very affordable stay with a hospitable host who provided us complimentary breakfast featuring local fares like hoppers, string hoppers with fillings, curry puffs, bananas and tea/ coffee. Walking distance from the bus station. Host arranged for our elephant safari experience at a reasonable price with a guide/ driver who was fun and honest. We parked our scooter underneath the house. There's an insect net over the bed. Nights can get chilly since the place is forested. Host also dropped us at the bus station at the end of our stay. Overall a pleasant stay for the price paid.

What a great place to stay!!! It is pretty cool to sleep in a tree house with all these nature sounds. Especially as you can stay there after an excellent elephant safari nearby. It feels like a real adventure all together! I was worried about the Moskitos but the moskito net worked pretty well, so I got no bites at all during the night.

Nice place. Close to Habarana city. Very good and pleasant host.

We really enjoyed the treehouse stay - it was a lot of fun! The host was very lovely and provided a delicious breakfast. He also allowed us to check out late. It was so nice to sit on the balcony and listen to all of the animal sounds! Highly recommend!

“Srimal speaks great english and is very helpful and friendly!”

Srimal and his family were the kindest hosts, they were super helpful. Srimal took us on many trips in his tuktuk, waited for us and showed us extra places on the way back. We ate a great breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed staying on the edges of the jungle!!

Adventure tree house, who likes wild peacock sounds you should try this place.any time can hear the peacocksounds and some other wild animals not too far from the centre and nearby many local residents available. Ranga and his family is running this amazing place , very friendly familyBreakfast was good and local 😋, the best things is he allows our golden puppy to stay his property . “Loved it- would stay again”

The accommodation was great- very basic but it was all we needed. The shower was a very good pressure and it was situated very close to the small town (5min walk). The host very kindly arranged for us to go on a safari to Kaudulla National park, where we saw loads of elephants. He also took us to Sigirya for a great price. Thank you!
