“Grat location in lovely Haarlem”

Great location, friendly staff. Nice room

Lovely comfortable room in a perfect central location, staff are brilliant. The rooms are above a nice little cocktail bar/restaurant. Despite being in the main square, we didn't find it too noisy at night but we were provided with earplugs if needed.

No water in the morning!!! No service, no cleaning, it is not a hotel but private entertainment.

“Bambu Break”

Great location on main square. Could be noisy if there is a fair or market in the square. Lovely big room, fairly small shower room. Young staff in the restaurant downstairs were friendly and helpful.

This was our second visit in about six months and it was just as good this time. The room (the same one, at the back) was quiet, with a nice view of a wall, enhanced by local pigeons cooing. The floor sloped the same way, the door hinges still hadn‘t been oiled, and my wife, at five foot two, still needed a stool to look in the mirror in the bathroom. The stairs to the room are typically Dutch, that is, alpine, so some may be challenged. The hotel lets out on the Grote Markt, so coud not be better located. There is a nice bakery next door and the hotel’s restaurant does a nice line in Asian food. The staff were welcoming. We hope to return.

Absolutely amazing, on the market square, below you have lovely bistro (no noise) ,staff absolutely very nice. Modern and eye for a detail. Comfy beds.

“Brilliant home from home”

Great value for money- I wondered what the catch would be but there wasn't one! Room even nicer than it looked in the pics. Lovely place to be, felt like a home to come back to each evening. Stairs are steep and the square can get noisy at night, but that's all mentioned up front and wasn't an issue for me. Perfectly located in the heart of everything too, I'll totally be back

“It's good for a short stay”

Staff was extremely welcoming and helpful, which is definitely a bonus. The position it's great, right in the city centre.

“Very enjoyable and does what it says on the tin”

The staff were all very friendly and approachable. The rooms were all a good size and the bathrooms were clean and stocked with small bottles of shampoo and shower gel. It was easy to find and conveniently located to distance of shops and restaurants so there's really nothing more we could ask for on our short stay!

The location was very central and convenient for exploring Haarlem. The interior design was ok but small and tight.

Perfect location and very nice staff.

The location was perfect and very central.Our group had three of the four rooms at the Bambu Sleep Boutique. Two of them, (the pink and yellow rooms) were at the back with no view but room 3 (blue room) had a fantastic view overlooking the square. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful, especially in sending back something I left in the room.

Perfect location at the heart of the Square, super lit till late at night, in the heart of the city and literally minutes away from everything (including the railway station that you can take and be in other cities in less than 30 min combined). Super friendly staff, and eager to help when needed. Also, the room (I had booked Nr 1) was much bigger than expected, much lighter and had plenty of space to walk around as well :))) Loved that there were many Radios on the TV that made the stay even better. And on top of everything, there was a cafe machine, and also had complimentary tea at my service. Though I did not use them, they were a nice touch for anyone who drinks coffee or tea and has it handy early in the morning.

The room was spacious and the bathroom clean with an effective shower. I really appreciated the Air-conditioning on a hot weekend and I slept well with a comfy bed. The service was excellent with the bed made and the room tidied. I found the staff to be helpful and friendly. The spoke English which I was extra thankful for.

The location on Grote Markt was fantastic. The restaurant downstairs was great and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room had a comfortable bed and a modern TV. The mini fridge was a welcome addition.
