Overview
Only a short walk from the centre of the quiet, romantic and cosy resort town of Haapsalu, 100 km from Tallinn, Thalasso Spa Fra Mare lies right by the sea, cooled by the gentle breezes from the surrounding pine forests. The curative mud, warm winds, wide bays edged with sea grass and streets that lead to the seashore have attracted visitors to Haapsalu since the beginning of the 19th century. The hotel is modern and yet feels just like home. There is an à la carte restaurant, a lobby bar, spa rooms, the Thalasso Beauty World, the Day Spa sauna and pool complex, a gym and a shop. The menu in the Bergfeldt restaurant combines tastes from the cuisines of various countries, as well as the best that Estonian cuisine has to offer.

Nice small spa area with six different saunas, general pool, bubble pool and an outdoor pool. Ok breakfast. Good location to explore the nature and Haapsalu by bike.

“Beautiful”
Room was comfortable. Staff were friendly, not much for vegtarians but they made a plan for us. Train station is nearby. Just note this is far out. Was a lovely drive. Variety for breakfast, wifi was good. Bring slippers for the sauna/pool area. Views are beautiful.

While I called and asked for a room, they said they are sold out. Checking via booking.com it said 5 last rooms, so I made a reservation via booking.com and went there and he had no clue who called when I told him he said me 15 minutes ago via call. Also he was smoking in front of reception, so the lobby was full of smoke. Room located next to the entrance so he kept smoking there I was not able to open window.

Comfortable room. Beautiful and quiet location (forest close to shore). Good spa. Good breakfast buffet. Good restaurant. Beautiful footpath to center of town (20 min. walk).

“Nice, quiet spa hotel in the middle of nature”
Quiet, spacious room, good breakfast, easy spa access. Spa was not big, but had different saunas, nice expereince. Nordic walking with a guide was nice and the possibility to rent a bike. Great biking routes to city centre. Body treatments (aromimud, vitamin-c) were relaxing.
