We weren't looking for a luxury place to stay. This guest house exceeded all our expectations.

Staff was super friendly, nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, cats outside welcoming (not counting the one paw-attack :D), rooms were prepared on time. We will be happy to come back some time :)

Very nice staff!!!

We were the only guests in this warm, very well-located family home-like guest house in a worthwhile town to visit. Beguta Guest House is almost a straight walk up from the small bus station past the traffic circle and just before the town's main street. Its entrance is like a small plant store with a large wooden spiral staircase leading up to the rooms. The breakfast room also serves as a small warm cafe and there's an outdoor garden area with plenty of seating and a small distillery creating delicious apple brandy. Many restaurants, cafes, bars, cafes, shops, and a small supermarket are around the corner. It's a short walk to the very interesting fortress, the bird watching tower, and the beach promenade. The room was basic but comfortable and it was great having "real" soap (homemade) and the hottest water we've had during our travels. Our hosts were interesting and helpful.

Location was in the centre of the town The staff at breakfast (A Cafe below our accommodation ) were very friendly and helpful, the young girl was very busy but still managed to answer questions we had and she had a smile . The breakfast was very good

If one likes a simple, no fuss stay overnight (comfy bed, hot shower), and loves rustic yet mediterranean interior design (tones of sand, terracota, wood, straw, limestone, white rustic plaster), the place is for you. No TV in the room was a bliss. Had a room with a window to the inner courtyard and the night was really quiet - had the window open (summer), but no town centre buzz was heard. Wonderful fresh and tasty breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice and good coffee gave the day an excellent kick off. Thank you, Beguta folks!

Food was close no non existent. A small sandwich and that's was pretty much it. The guy in charge of making coffees went missing during the breakfast. What happened to the old place?!

“Pleasant atmosphere in the heart of Haapsalu”

The lication is perfect. Breakfast is extremely nice, but be aware it is not bufee. The staff is very friendly and the atmisphere is what makes the stay pleasant. We enjoyed the fireplace in the cafeteria.

I stayed at Beguta Guesthouse during the off-season and found it to be a quiet and peaceful retreat. As the only guest during my stay, the atmosphere felt a bit unusual, but it added to the charm of this cozy place. I stayed in a small garden house, which was simple yet very comfortable. The highlight of my visit was the breakfast—it was a pleasant surprise with its quality and thoughtfulness.. The entire property has a warm and welcoming vibe, making it a great spot to unwind. If you’re looking for a calm and relaxing getaway, especially during quieter months, I’d recommend giving Beguta a try.

“A freezing cold room that did not have the heating turned on in advance, in December. Disappointing.”

The breakfast was tasty, but very small.
