The bungalow was a lovely space to relax - spacious and comfortable with everything we needed for a few nights including access to the shared kitchen space for cooking. The location was ideal for exploring the area but also private and quiet for relaxing. Kihiarii was the best host, so helpful and great communication and recommendations. Thanks so much for a great stay, would definitely recommend and stay here again if we return!

“Nice place at a reasonable price to spend a few days in Moorea”

Location was just off the main road, easy to reach, with plenty of free parking. Room was wide, with several windows. Very large shower in the bathroom. Comfortable king bed. Fridge in the room. Fully equipped (but rather old) kitchen available in the common area. Access to a private beach was possible, but we did not use and cannot rate it. Friendly and available staff.

Room was perfect and comfortable. The owner was very cooperative and very helpful. Personally, I thank her a lot for all the help she did so that the visit and the stay go smoothly.

We loved staying at Residence Vainau Moorea! Kihi (the host) was so friendly and always helped us with every single question we had. Our little Bungalow was clean and cozy, the bed was comfortable, you can watch the sunset at the little bay near the Residence. We really appreciated our time there and if we ever come back to Moorea we will stay here again!

Nice shared communal kitchen

It was very quiet and comfortable. It has it's own lovely beach. It is close to Pacifik Attitude who run tours for watching and swimming with whales. That was fabulous.

absolutely everything. there was construction inside the residence which nobody cared to inform us about. the bedsheets were torn, the bathroom without door. there was air conditioning but they asked 20 euros more to put it on. we have been traveling around different countries and inside Polynesia and this was the worst experience we’ve had. not recommend at all

Excellent service and help from the hostess Kihi (and her husband). From the moment I booked, till and including my departure, she was extremely helpful and couldnt have done more to make my stay pleasurable. The residence is very quiet but across the road, you have access to a private beach which is most tranquil and beautiful. You do need to rent a scooter or car to see the island and get around. It is also very close if you want to see the polynesian show. Kihi also helped to organise for pick up and drop off for tours and dinner when I did not have transport myself. I would definitely stay again. Thank you Kihi.

“Great stay”

My friend and I stayed here 5 nights and liked it a lot. It is located a little outside the “city” and a scooter or car is needed. We rented a scooter with Kihiraii and it was easy and very good. Kihiraii is always availible and quick to answer at Whatsapp and just a great host.

Very friendly and helpful hostess. She helped me find activities and arranged for pickups. The beach was fine. There was a well-equipped kitchen that you could use .which was good because you could not get anything to eat from the hotel.
