“Great bunch of bungalows on a lovely beach!!”

The location was fantastic, right on a very clean white sandy beach. The on-site restaurant served great food (wide variety) and excellent drinks. There were several other good restaurants within walking distance, as well. The bungalow was massive and very clean. A free water refilling station was provided. The whole resort was very clean and tidy and the staff were warm and friendly. Excellent value for money. We will be back again!!

Great location

We absolutely loved our stay at Seaboard Bungalows for 6 nights in August. We had a view of the sea from our veranda, the beach is stunning, the staff were great and Haad Yao has everything you need. It was a very relaxing week!

Just excellent. Location could not be better, directly on the beach. Very chilled place all round. Old school vibes. Max is our kind of host. Leaves us alone to chill but is there if we need any help or advice. If you need anything just ask. Weekly Wednesday party great fun and an unexpected bonus. Best Thai food in the beach. Best place on the beach full stop. We will return, and recommend to all our friends.

“Loved the vibe”

Somewhat rustic bungalows right on Haad Yao beach. Loved the atmosphere, including the artisan market and techno party on Wednesday. Clever mood lighting around the grounds. Heaps of restaurants nearby and the essential 7/eleven. Parking for cars (steep access, but that is common in Koh Phangan). Not flash but lots of charm.

“Very uncomfortable”

We had a very uncomfortable stay. Old, run down bungalows (not as they were on the pictures). Old painting, wholes on the walls. Unconfortable matrasses for sleeping, old basic furniture and (unclean) decoration. Nice plants around the bungalows but packed with mosquitoes, which makes impossible to spend some relaxing moments on the small balcony. In addition, no mosquitonet on the windows, if you open the door to change air, the bungalow will be invaded by mosquitoes. Out of two beds only one had a mosquitonet. If you wake up early, the restaurant is closed, no coffee machine in the bungalows. The food in the restaurant is also basic. We went to eat next door after two days. Do not expect the famous Thai hospitality and kindness, this is an expat run accomodation. Overall, much below the standards usual in Thailand. The place hosts a party on Wednesdays, loud music and the crowd passes in front of your bungalow. Thursday night, loud electronic music from somewhere else. As quality, I would recommend for young low budget backpackers, but then the price 90 euros per night is hard to justify. No services included, no cleaning, you can spend your time cleaning up the sand and fight mosquitoes.

A huge thank you to Team Seaboard for an unforgettable stay! Everything about our experience was exceptional, from the faultless food to the vibrant atmosphere. Both the Italian and Thai menus were absolutely delicious, and the aubergine parmigiana was a standout favorite. Their event program was fantastic, featuring high-energy dance parties and soulful live jazz performances at sunset. Any minor issues were swiftly handled and the hosts and staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The cherry on top? The expertly curated playlist that set the perfect tone throughout the day at the beachside restaurant. Their seamless blend of classical, funk & soul, house music, and ambient lounge created an effortlessly cool and relaxing vibe. They really know what they’re doing! Already looking forward to our next visit!

Great atmosphere, entertainment,.various chill areas, beautiful art, decent western food (limited and average thai). Spacious rooms and nice interior. Lots of friendly animals, sand toys, tunes good drinks and beautiful Sunsets!

Less than 30seconds to the beach. Animal friendly, good service
