Overview
Built into a cliff on Haad Yao, west of Phangan Island, High Life Bungalow offers Balinese and Thai-style accommodation with steps leading down to the beach. It also provides an outdoor infinity pool and free Wi-Fi. Chargeable transfers from Thongsala Pier to the resort are available. Fully air-conditioned, these tropical wooden bungalows all come with a cable/satellite TV and fridge. From the private balcony, guests can enjoy beautiful garden or sea views. Private bathrooms have hot-water showers. High Life Bungalow is a 10-minute walk from Ao Chao Prao and a 15-minute drive from Thongsala Main Pier. It is a 30-minute drive from the famous Full Moon Party at Haad Rin Beach. Free services include Wi-Fi at the lobby, as well as parking. Day trips can be arranged at the tour desk, while water sports activities can be enjoyed at the beach. Thai massage is also available. The resort's restaurant serves a selection of Thai and Western dishes.

Highlife Bungalows is the most magical place I have ever stayed. Stunning views, on the most amazing beach. The room was absolutely perfect, such a comfortable bed, the food and drinks were next level and the staff were faultless. Can’t recommend this place enough and I look forward to my next stay.

This hotel was great. The restaurant served some of the best food we had eaten whilst in Thailand and great value. The staff were all very friendly and the views and sunsets were amazing. The hotel is located at the bottom of a very steep hill. Our room was a large family room with a very big bathroom. We had a big balcony with a hammock and an outside bath. The hotel is set in lots of beautiful trees and grounds and feels like you're in the jungle. There was lots of wildlife including lizards but unfortunately this also meant lots of mosquitos. The bar had a nice vibe to it in the evenings and you can book the big round table that over looks the beach for food/drinks and to watch the sunset. There were around 12-15 steep steps down to the beach with lots of bars and restaurants along the beach to visit. The hotel has a lovely pool with sunbeds and larger square seated areas.

Location is perfect, right on the beach but still ”secluded” enough. Nature, great clean pool and room for relaxing. Staff was very welcoming, polite and helped. Liked it so much I extended my stay 2 times

“Four days of chilled paradise”
Loved this place. We were in A1 bungalow with amazing views. Room was great. Bathroom is a little tired and there is no window. The food and service here is excellent! Could not fault this at all. Pool area is beautiful with plenty of sunbeds. Its no good for people with mobility issues as there are alot of steps to the rooms and beach. Would reccomend this place and would 100% stay again. Thanks High Life for an excellent chilled four days.

Beautiful setting overlooking a gorgeous beach. Good infinity pool with excellent views. Food was excellent and plenty of it. Most of the staff were lovely, very friendly and worked hard.

Stunning views, a very nice beach with clear water and white sand. Beautiful pool & restaurant with great food and drinks at good prices. Walkable to many nice restaurants, stores, massages, yoga classes on the beach and on the street.
