As soon as we arrived here we were greeted with welcome drinks and a cool towel! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Everywhere around the hotel is kept spotless and the staff work so hard to maintain everything. We were truly blown away by how hard they work each day. We would definitely recommend to stay here. You can rent a moped through the hotel and book various excursions. If you are coming for the full moon party it is in the perfect location

“Lovely stay in Haad Rin”

Beautiful resort with a great view across to Koh Samui. Good location close to Haad Rin beach. Lovely rooms which were spotless. Very nice pool bar with tables for lunch and dinner. Nice cocktails and food - a large menu to choose from. Good breakfast options too. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The Thai masseuse was very skilled. Highly recommend a visit.

“Fantastic hotel , private villas with pool not worth it”

The hotel was fabulous , rooms comfy , beds lush, breakfast had good choices , fresh and omlette station was great. Loads of public area seating, beds , lounges bean bags , hammocks very chill in general. Highly recommend the hotel

“Disappointed”

Sunbeds at the pool are really outdated and uncomfortable. Be mindful of slippery tiles when coming out of the pool. People are bringing own music boxes to the pool to play loud music while poolstaff doesn’t bother. Our room was ready at around 15:00 and airco was off, so when we got into our room the temperature was 30+ and took long time to cool the room again. Rooms are noisy and one night people are partying in front of the rooms with loud music, after contacting reception it became a little better, but still people talking till 1:30 am.

“A great hotel with a set of pools to die for!”

Now this is a stunning hotel. We asked for a Superior Double Room with Sea View and boy did we get one. Room A313 nice little balcony facing the sea looking over the brilliant pools. The Room is generous with and comfy. The star of this hotel is the 4 massive pools running down to the sea. They are superb. We stayed 2nd - 6th May and had no problems finding sunbeds and shade. The staff are brilliant - a special nod to Sally and Nova who went above and beyond to help us. Unusually we ate at the hotel and the food was excellent (as were the breakfasts and again great coffee). Location wise the hotel is a short walk from a number of restaurants and bars towards Haad Rin Pier or along the beach to the Coral Hotel (cheap and good food).

The property was amazing, luxurious pool area and a great view of the sea and beyond. The staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was value for money too. The location is ok, a little far from some of the attractions like bottle beach but close to full moon party.

Our stay at Vannee Golden Sand Resort, Koh Phangan was nothing short of exceptional. Kartika went far beyond her role to ensure every aspect of our stay was flawless. Her professionalism is outstanding, but what really sets her apart is her personal touch—she anticipates guests’ needs before they even arise and handles everything with such ease and elegance. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated, kind-hearted, and passionate about guest experience. Because of her, our stay didn’t just feel like a vacation—it felt special and memorable in every way. She truly represents world-class hospitality, and we are incredibly grateful for her efforts.
