The staff were all so kind and comforting. Was a truely amazing experience we felt so looked after . Such fun as well as really good value for money , lovely freebies too and great hangout spots. Special mention for the receptionist who made such an effort to make everyone feel safe and welcome . Even noticing when certain people hadn't come in after a night out.

The owner was nice and welcoming and check-in was easy. It was a quieter period during my stay, so the atmosphere may be different at other times.

This hostel is fantastic, Julian makes for a social and laid back atmosphere and the bed "pods" are very private. Very much enjoyed my stay here!

I joined Funky Monkey Hostel on my own, without really knowing what to expect, right after arriving in Thailand following several long flights. What can I say? I originally planned to stay for two nights, extended it to five, and ended up staying for two weeks. The property is lounge and very well maintained. Every evening, Julius, the manager, organizes small social events as board games, themed food nights, beer pong, (...). The atmosphere is very international, with a great spirit of sharing, fun, and kindness.The hostel is extremely clean, including the rooms, with dailys housekeeping. The whole staff is lovely, attentive, and always available to help. it was a very good stay, perfect for relaxing, meeting nice people, and having a lot of laughs. I highly recommend it: 5/5 and, for everyone!

The events, breakfast, community dinner, karaoke... Julius made a great job with this hostel, I'm usually not a big fan of party hostel but here I was

Julius is super welcoming and has cultivated something special with Funky Monkey! Free breakfast, towels for the beach, activities every day, s snacks/tea/coffee, refillable water and a games area - it has everything you need!

Great location in Haad Rin with easy access to everything. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the vibe was social but still comfortable. The hostel felt clean, the bed was comfy, and overall it was really good value for money.

Amazing hostel. Julius very friendly and helpful and organizing activitites every night. The room had everything you need aswel as beach towels to use. Staff were amazing.

Seems like a lot of consideration went into organising that hostel! Lots of benefits, the beach towels were very appreciated. Very friendly staff and helpful owner. Nice Chill/Gaming Area. Good water pressure for the showers und paper towels for your hands are something special here in Thailand I think. Comfortable beds. Coffee machine was great. Amazing value for the price.
