Overview
Located on Haadrin Nai Beach, Starlight Haadrin Resort offers a beachfront restaurant. A 10-minute drive from the Full Moon Party area, it provides free return transfers from Haadrin Pier. Featuring private balconies with garden views, the air-conditioned rooms come with a TV and a fridge. Each room has a private bathroom with a hot shower. Guests can relax on the sun loungers provided at the beach area. The tour desk can arrange activities like fishing trips, snorkelling or scuba diving, and Thai cooking classes. The resort also offers motorbike rentals, internet services, and laundry services. Thai and international dishes are served at the beachfront restaurant. Starlight Haadrin Resort is a 30-minute drive from Thong Sala Pier. It is an hour’s drive from Phaeng Waterfall National Park, and 20 minutes’ drive from Wat Khao Tam.

“A peaceful, welcoming place that feels like home — I will definitely come back again.”
I’ve been to Koh Phangan three times and stayed both in a private villa and in other hotels, and this was by far the best place I’ve stayed on the island. The atmosphere here is very special — it feels more like visiting a caring relative than staying at a hotel. The owner and staff are incredibly attentive, warm, and always ready to help, which makes you feel truly welcome. The location is excellent — close to 7-Eleven and within walking distance to Haad Rin, but at the same time very quiet and peaceful, so you can sleep well even during busy periods like the Full Moon Party. The beach is beautiful and well maintained. The territory is full of greenery and flowers, everything is very clean and well cared for. The rooms have everything you need, and the overall level of comfort and service is excellent. Another nice surprise was how friendly and respectful the other guests were, which added to the relaxed atmosphere.

“Relaxing, peaceful and easy 😊”
It’s a simple place, but has everything u need, with direct beach access. Location is great, far enough from any noise (didn’t stay through full moon though). Since the beaches furthest north’s is like a 30 min drive with a bike, everything on the island is still really accessible. Staff is present, friendly and happy to help with a smile. We ended up extending from 3 days until it was fully booked 10ish days later. If you’re looking for a something’s private rather than a doorm, but you’re still on a budget, this place is a perfect choice.

Lovely welcome from the owner and staff, very helpful for laundry and assisting renting moped or taxi. great location on the beach. Brilliant early morning sunshine in hammock. Can't wait to come back.

“Basic, but lovely, little bungalows in a lovely quiet setting with good access to full moon party”
I made the decision to go to a full moon party very late, so it was tough to find decent accommodation that wasn't price-inflated to a ridiculous degree. Starlight was still fairly priced. Bungalows were basic, but nice. The resort has direct access to the beach, where you can watch the sunset. It's all really chilled-out, with hammocks, etc. You can walk to the main Haad Rin beach in about 10 mins. It's a great place to be close to the full moon party without drowning in the madness. I'm surprised this place doesn't have better reviews to be honest.

I had a relaxing stay at Starlight Haadrin Resort. The location is beautiful — right by the beach and just a short walk from the center of Haadrin. The bungalow was simple but clean and cozy, with a nice terrace to enjoy the view. The atmosphere was peaceful, perfect for unwinding. The staff were kind and helpful throughout my stay. I would happily return for another quiet beach escape.

Small family hotel opening onto the beach. Online photos are accurate - what you book is what you get. Staff were very helpful. If you want a quiet location 15 minutes walk from the party beach then it's a great choice.

We stayed here for full moon party. It was easy to walk to the party from the resort. It was quiet and had a lovely atmosphere. The staff were so kind and helpful.

“Comfy, clean affordable little place near enough to full moon party.”
Staff friendly. Close enough to Haad Rin to walk in or get taxi and once we had scooters used them to get everywhere. Far away enough no noise after full moon party. Room comfortable. Clean. Fridge and water. Basic but what we paid for and would stay again.

Perfect location for the full moon party if you’re on a budget, but don’t want a hostel. Right on the beach.
