The hotel is near the center of the city. Don't follow the address, because that's in the wrong street. The swimming pool and breakfast were nice. The sauna was rather cold.

A great value for money option in Gyumri. Vintage style hotel, very warm and with very helpful personnel. Breakfast was great. Gyumri is a great city and the hotel is in the centre. Don't hesitate to walk around the city, even in the muddiest roads you will find.

The staff were very kind and helpful. The location is perfect, and the price is fantastic for what you get. The breakfast had a good variety and was very tasty. The swimming pool and sauna are great, especially in winter — very cozy and relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was good, but it starts a bit late for travellers at 9am. Location was excellent - close to the town centre and next door the Roman spa. Good restaurant , sauna and swimming pool available - to rest and enjoy facilities while waiting for early morning flight

“Good Value, Though Reception Staff...”

I am always objective with my reviews, and so, accounting for the presumably very low season price, I will give a 4/5, however, I should first note, that the main reception staff (aside from the younger man) were generally miserable and unfriendly the entire time (and I stayed 10 days having extended by a further 5 to focus on some online administration). I would have been inclined to perhaps give 5/5 had they been polite and helpful, however, they would never smile, and would respond and approach you as if you were a burden to them, living as an uninvited guest in their own personal home...this is who it felt for the entire duration of my stay. Aside from the aforementioned issues regarding etiquette; for the price paid, the economy room was good. The WiFi was strangely terrible though and basically didn't work almost the entire time (though this may just be the corner economy rooms), and the shower basin was completely blocked most of the time too. Additionally, the heating wasn't really functioning (in the middle of winter), so the room would be too cold for most, however, I did like the room regardless. The bedroom area is on a mezzanine accessed via very steep stairs, and although totally unsuitable for most and very dangerous indeed, it felt very cosy nonetheless and private, and the ensuite, irrespective of the drainage issue was sufficient and new and there always seemed to be hot water. The room contained a clothes rail, sofa, side table and TV. Housekeeping was offered each day with fresh towels, slippers and bathroom amenities, and those staff were very polite. Overall, for the price I paid (between £13.50-£15.50) via an online booking agency, the value was very good and the included breakfast was of a good standard too, however, as already mentioned, the hotel reception etiquette was bad, and though there seemed to be a pool and sauna, these were not mentioned at all, nor anything else about the hotel whatsoever.

The room was spacious, I booked tripple room. Breakfast was good. Thanks to the helpful staff. Water in swimming pool was warm, sauna super hot. All hotel area including rooms were clean. The price for the hotel location and service super.

Nice and reasonably priced hotel. Small but cosy « economic » room, with a single bed at upper floor. It is nice, should you do not have vertigo when climbing the very high ladder with narrow steps ! Good breakfast in a large room with distinguished decoration. Well located, with bars & restaurants around.

I love the variety of breakfast they serve. It was a mixed of international cuisine and some Armenian local delicacies with lots of fruits and choices for vegetarians.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful. Omelette and potatoes and fruit and yoghurt. Kitchen staff were very helpful. The sauna was great and the swimming pool - about 15 metres was lovely for a swim. The hotel reeks grandeur.
