“A magical and peaceful getaway”
We booked last-minute and were warmly welcomed by John just hours later. The house is peacefully set in nature with its own private lake – absolutely idyllic! Our room was full of charm, beautifully decorated with thoughtful details, fresh flowers, and fine English tea. The garden offers cozy seating, a romantic glasshouse, a fire pit, and a BBQ area – perfect to relax. John even lent us his canoe, life jackets, and a picnic blanket – we spent an unforgettable day on a small island just five minutes away! We stayed two nights and felt completely at home. Everything was wonderful and John is a truly exceptional host. We’ll definitely be back!

The hospitality of the owner is very special. It starts with an short walk in the garden and then a small tour inside. You can have breakfast with fresh eggs, fruit etc. in the garden house. Very special.

A very lovely flat in the upper part of the house in an idyllic location. Very comfortable bed and we really enjoyed our stay. Such a nice host too!
