“Great gem of a hotel!”

Parking right outside the Hotel. Friendly and very helpful Eleni. Nothing was too much trouble and Eleni made our stay very good. The room was very tastefully decorated and very clean. Paul, the owner, was also very nice. We would definitely go back again.

“Enjoyable stay off Mavrovouni Beach, near Gythio”

The room was lovely, very comfortable with sea views. Staff were wonderful. Breakfast weas great, and so generous we didn't eat lunch during our entire stay. The hotel is in a great position, at the Gythio end of Mavrovouni Beach. There is easy access to the beach, which has good snorkelling and it generally not massively busy especially if you walk a little way. You can also walk to Gythio if you are reasonably fit and don't mind a walk. It's about 3km and there is a pavement the whole way, but it is up and down a steep hill. If you have a car it is no distance at all to the town. There are a couple of great restaurants on Mavrovouni Beach, so you don't need to go into town every night to eat. There are also amazing views of the moon from the beach at night - we saw the blood moon there, though sadly it was a little cloudy that night, but the moon was pretty spectacular every night.

Very clean, comfortable, modern rooms. Nice little pool to cool down. Very kind staff, made you feel like at home. The close by town Mavrouni feels very local and has some of the best restaurants and cafes. The port town Gytheio is also very nice. Very long sandy beach excellent for swimming in short walking distance. Highly recommended.

“Fabulous West Mani Retreat”

Beautiful room in an immaculate small development about 300M from the beach. We stayed in room 202 which was ideally located on the first floor with fabulous views to the sea, and two small balconies. Just a fridge in the room, and a kettle for tea. The rooms look a little dark on Booking.com but french doors actually provide plenty of light. Good bed, beautiful linens and an excellent bathroom with honed marble elements.. Immaculate daily housekeeping, and an impressive breakfast prepared fresh daily. Gluten free options available, and very good English spoken by the key member of staff on reception. This place is used by many as a stopover for a night or two on a road trip around the Mani, but we stayed for a week using the pool and good nearby beach, driving to Gythio to explore and also seeing local towns and villages. The small pool is kept in excellent condition (quiet hours between 2-4pm), and the quality of the materials used to create the patio areas and walls is impressive. Everything has a 'quality' feel, and the value for money is outstanding. Standing on your small balcony feeling the sea breeze, and gazing at the smoky Taygetos mountains as the sun sets to the west is like a beautiful dream. A superb place to completely relax. We'll be back.

Very new and clean , very friendly staff. Close to expansive beach and short drive to Githion, pool also on offer. Hospitable staff who offered us complimentary coffee and cake in the morning before our early departure . Nice outdoor sitting area

“Excellent choice for a stay in GIT”

The room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was good, cold continental style and really fresh. It is a short drive from the town so really convenient. The host was really informative and helpful, she made us feel like it was really important to her that we enjoyed our stay.

Really great (!) location in a family atmosphere. We received many valuable tips on places to visit in the Peloponnese. The breakfast outside in the sun by the pools was amazing. The access from the main road is signposted and was completely ok. Greek stile...

“Excellent customer service,spot clean,great place!”

Customer service was excellent!They kept asking us how we were doing, if we needed any help and even the day of the check out we had to leave too early and they offered to prepare from the previous night some packed breakfast to take during our trip. Spot clean! They tidied our rooms every single day. Had a mosquito repellent in the room, hand sanitiser, 2 bottles of water. Free breakfast even though it wasn't stated in our booking. Lovely small swimming pool perfect for when you are too exhausted to walk to the beach. They can also offer beach towels for the swimming pool. Great environment, excellent taste in the decoration. Free parking on site! Comfortable rooms. Overall one of the best stays I have ever had!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and given many tips and ideas of places to visit! Breakfast was amazing with a lovely selection, we couldn't fault it. The room was spacious with a lovely modern en suite, complimentary tea, coffee and water and large balcony. Although we didn't use the tiered pool area it was beautifully set out and looked immaculate! Perfect stay!!!

Excellent location, parking facilities good. Near to beach or Gythio. Car needed to see all the sights. The host was very helpful, giving us pointers of what to see. Breakfast was fantastic, room clean and a good size. Definitely recommend.
