Absolutly amazing stay. Everything was clean, the room was spacious and Junny was really helpfull. She helped us plan our stay and what to see as well as what bus to take out the next day. One of our favorites stays in our trip!

I had a wonderful stay in Gyeongju. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. I especially loved the warm and cozy atmosphere. ✨ The location was also very convenient, making it easy to explore the city and visit nearby attractions. The host shared many great local recommendations, and thanks to those suggestions, I was able to enjoy Gyeongju even more. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. Her hospitality and thoughtful service made my trip truly memorable.🫶🏼 I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Gyeongju.

This guesthouse is the perfect place to be in Gyeongju. Walking distance to everything that you have to see, including a very near bus stop to reach Bulguksa temple. Simple yet super clean room and perfect self-service simple breakfast to start off your day. What makes a huge difference are the owners. A perfect in-person check-in with a great plan to optimize your time while you’re there and always open to help you out with advices even for next destinations. If you come to Gyeongju, you should definitely stay here!

Everything! Junny, is the most delightful and helpful host. From her welcome introduction, to our room upgrade, to the daily room clean and fresh towels, to helping us with local restaurant recommendations and bus information. She made our stay a dream. Room was incredibly spacious and the beds were the most comfortable we had during our trip. Immaculately clean throughout. Quiet. Very well located. We stayed 3 nights and loved it. We highly recommend staying with Junny and her husband :)

“Perfect stay , the highlight of my trip to Korea!”

Great hotel and excellent host. Staying here has been the highlight of my trip to Korea. I received excellent communication from Hwarang Guesthouse. I found the beds very comfortable, the rooms are very clean and spacious. Location is perfect, walking distance to many historic attractions, public transport, restaurants, shopping and convenience stores. Junhee the owner helped me plan my days in Gyeongju to make sure I was able to see all the sights. She recommended some very good local restaurants with delicious food. This place is hidden gem! I will stay here next time in Gyeongju.

The location was perfect and the staff so so helpful, with maps readily available and directions at hand too. It was lovely to have a chat and learn about the area as well and know the spots to visit. The complimentary breakfast was perfect. The space in the common area and bedrooms was spacious. The en-suite bathroom was great too, everything clean and tidy. Really recommend.

I loved everything! From the location to how helpful, kind, attentive Junny (one of the owners) was. You will get any information and even more about what to do and where to eat in Gyeongju from her. The guesthouse is located in a quiet but close to main attractions and the bus terminal place.

Great stay for two nights. The host helped me plan the short time I had. Room was spacious, bathroom typical for Korea. Great Accommodation will stay again if I come back to Korea

Junny is an excellent host and provides some really useful information about where to go and where to eat. The accomodation has everything you need if you plan on being out for the day. The room is very clean and new towels are provided every day. The guesthouse is a short walk from the main historical site and a variety of other attractions, restaurants and bars. There are also regular buses from the end of the road.

Junny was really a great host! She knew a lot about how to move around all the city and the surroundings and was really prepared, for example, about the exact time in which was better to take that bus. She really helped me a lot in seeing the best of Gyeongju and some things outside I didn’t know about. She also helped me a lot in finding a notebook I had lost and I really am grateful to her! The room was nice and comfortable. Everything was written down (also in English!) and all the instructions were really clear, even for foreigners, a thing I found it difficult to find in other places in South Korea.
