Good Korean breakfast cooked and served by hosts in their kitchen. They were very friendly, spoke good English and were very kind. I arrived there with a back injury and they could not have done more to assist my recover, offering cold compress pads. The small number of rooms was refreshing after big city hotels. Close to restaurants.

It was a great experience, the rooms were built in the authentic hanok style (explained very well by the owners), very comfortable and clean. The owners were very kind, treated us like family: they explained the area and things to do very well, they cooked breakfast themselves (delicious/traditional) and they even showed us a traditional game and gifted it to us! Thank you for the experience!!

“Absolutely beautiful - the place and the people!”
Exquisite hanok in a perfect location in the old part of Gyeongju. The room was spotlessly clean and beautiful in its simplicity. Our hosts were so welcoming and on arrival, helped us to plan the two days we were spending in Gyeongju. Breakfast was an absolute pleasure, sitting on stools watching the food being prepared and feeling very much welcomed into the family home. The food was so tasty and huge portions so that we were fuelled up well for the day ahead! Highly recommend this perfect hanok!

Run by an amazing couple. They cooked a Korean breakfast in their own kitchen where you are made to feel like part of the family. As a solo traveller I feel I was given such a wonderful welcome and extra special treatment. I cannot praise them enough. This is my third time in Korea and it was a pleasure to stay in a traditional Korean house.

Our stay at Hanokinn was absolutely perfect. It was truly the highlight of our entire trip. Everything was beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully prepared. The hanok itself is stunning and gives you a real, authentic experience. What made it even more special was the wonderful couple hosting us — they were incredibly kind, welcoming, and made us feel at home from the very first moment. I couldn’t recommend this place more. If you’re looking for a unique and unforgettable experience, this is it.

Staying at Hanokinn is like visiting and staying with your favourite aunt and uncle. You get absolutely spoilt. The breakfast is exceptional the engagement is second to none and they are so welcoming. The location is great. While you are out during the day they clean and refresh your room with the little things like putting our moon cakes we left on the bench into the fridge and taking my inner soles out of my second pair of shoes and setting them out to air. Can you believe that. I would gladly have them as guests in my house. If you are going to Gyeongju you cannot beat this place.

A beautiful traditional home in the center of Gyeongju, Mrs Kim was so lovely and kind with our children. Mr Kim helped point out the key places to visit which was a very nice touch, and our room was spacious and comfortable with all Western amenities you would expect.
