Extremely friendly and caring hosts, very modern and super clean property which was refurbished almost entirely only a few years ago. It included every possible amenity one could need, and more. The pool was a wonderful addition. Breakfast was left in the fridge which was also a very welcome addition. The hosts were extremely responsive and available to help with anything (e.g. booking a taxi on the day of departure). I would certainly recommend Sohwa and I wouldn’t consider any other option if I planned to be back in Gyeongju. I’ve travelled far and wide and this property definitely ranks among the very best I’ve experienced.

The owner is a lovely woman, she provided us with everything, advices, all comforts, including a nice and fresh breakfast. She also surprised us with a wonderful surprise at our departure! Absolutely lovely ! We were welcomed by the couple that owns it and they gave us a tour of the house and explained where everything was - they were so incredibly sweet and welcoming. The house is gorgeous, the photos don’t do it justice. The architecture is so beautiful and the house was very clean, well organised and so spacious, honestly the best place I have ever stayed at. If we ever come back, we will definitely stay here again, 10/10 for sure.

Very nice hostess with a very nice house in traditional style. Feels a bit like being “at home”. Close to most attractions worth visiting. Clean, spacious and nice with the small “pool” outside in the backyard. Our hostels helped us with what ever we needed help for.

Beautifully finished and comfortable hanok with everything you need to feel at home. Loved that it was an easy walking distance to town but in a location that is not swamped with tourists. Would stay again happily and will tell others.
