Staff were friendly and moved us to another room as I felt that the bed was too hard. The receptionist arranged a taxi for us at the end of our stay.

“Great for business or leisure travel”
Conveniently located to KTX & metro stations, the hotel is also just a short walk from a Bus stop which can get you in to the city quickly. Breakfast is provided on site & there are lots of restaurants and cafes in the immediate area. The room was very spacious & the Bathroom was equipped with a large spa tub. The shower is in a separate wet area- well designed. The TV is enormous!Staff were very polite and helpful

“Fantastic value and comfortable stay.”
The close proximity to the KTX station and numerous eateries around. Lotte car rental just across the road. The free use of washing machine and dryer is a definite bonus too.

The hotel room is really luxurious and feels like your own little home. The shower is amazing. It's not far from the train station or the airport.

“Recommend Madrid Hotel in Gwangju”
The location was really great because it was close to the subway (straight forward to use as only one line and cheap) and the fast train to Seoul. Thete were plenty of nice coffee shops and restaurants close by for dinner. The breakfast was limited, but fine and great value to he included in the room charge. The service from the front staff was marvellous, friendly and helpful - Baek, Joo and Jo Young Jnr. The rooms were very modern and great bathroom. Everything great.

“Quick stay good fit”
The room was spacious. It was close to the train station, both national rail (KTX) and the normal underground station. The shower was nice and easy to use, with a few skin products and moisturisers already included in the room.

“Great stay”
The room was quiet, clean and spacious. There are a variety of dining options nearby and the area was well-lit so it felt safe heading out for dinner even when it got dark. There is the KTX and metro station within walking distance and the Airport is also a few stops away by bus/metro.

“Satisfactory although it could be perfect.”
Situated right opposite Songjeong station(KTX) and right beside 1913 market. Very convenient. Front desk staff was very kind to allow early check in with extra pay by charging 10 000W/hr. The room was huge. TV has korea Netflix, other channels need to pay. They provide Kerasys hair damaged hair shampoo and conditioner, which I consider as very rare and I loved it. They even provide facial mask, big bottle of skin toner and emulsion although they were Vietnamese brand. Last but not least, the free self service laundry!

“Big room”
The room was huge and there was a bath and a shower in the room. This is clearly something we loved about the room. The bed was also very comfortable.

Nov 5-8 2022 Couple The room was big, clean and comfortable. There is a jacuzzi long bath. The hotel is about 100M away from Gwangju High Speed station. U cannot see the hotel from the station so it is best u ask for direction. There is a tourist info centre at the train station. The hotel signage on the top of building is in Korean with a stylistic M in blue neon. Around the corner from the hotel is a street food area where u can find local food and cafes. If not, just walk to the station for Isaac Toast or Starbucks Next to the train station is the city subway and if u walk to the main road from the htoel there is a bus top where u can take bus number 2 (if I remembered correctly) to U Sqaure Bus Terminal to get on bus to Damyang Bamboo Forest or Baekyangsa Temple at Naejangsan. (Pls note to Damyang u take bus from same bus stop u alight. Think bus 313?? Pls ask. To Baekyangsa Temple u need to go into the U Sqaure Bus Terminal to buy a ticket and then proceed to the bus bay to board the bus) Bus 2 can also bring u to the foot of Mudeungsan to begin yr hikes. To the other areas in Gwangju u can take the subway.
