Dasomchae is located on the outskirts 45-minute taxi ride from the city center. Nearest subway is 20 minutes walk. The road in front of Dasomchae is too narrow for taxis to enter and the neighborhood is very dirty.

The entrance gate, garden and Hanok part of the building was beautiful Good price and close to airport and bus stops The owner was friendly and chatty ^_^ Good breakfast provided, but get there early to avoid running out of bread!

Not far from train and metro station. Traditional hanok house though I live in opposite new house. Host reply quickly for enquiry. Simple breakfast included.

Locationt and Environment

“I left 3 days early even though I paid for a week.”

I met the host once during my stay. He was kind and nice. And he was able to explain to the taxi driver how to get to there when the taxi driver didn't know. I didn't have the breakfast. I felt uncomfortable going down to the porch where I was advised it would be served. There was stuff left there for days.

The owner was extremely helpful, didn't mind that we had to check-in at midnight because of bus complications. He even gave one us an umbrella when it was raining. The vibe was super friendly and the house is beautiful!

This Hanok house are beautiful and well maintain. Once you have check in, you will be on your own. Owner will leave you with ample of privacy and will provide information if asked. Hanbok hanging outside the room are free to use. Simple breakfast provided.

Friendly host. We stayed in the guesthouse (not the hanok) and I would stay there again. The bed was divine and it was close to the airport.

It is very comfortable and walking distance to gwanju sonjeong station.The house was superb. Room was very cozy and the owner is very helpful and friendly.

“Korean Traditional Lifestyle experience”

I experienced sleeping on a Korean Traditional House with floor heated. The availability of Hanbok to wear for picture taking was a good gesture. Walking distance to the KTX station, it is about 10 minutes walk.

I didn’t have breakfast. The neighborhood is very simple and nice. The owner is really nice and very helpful.

“Tranquil base for exploring seasonal festivals”

Nice atmosphere, the host kept a beautiful garden and was friendly and happy to answer questions and make recommendations. The communal area outdoors with a view of the garden was a charming place for breakfast or a break. The rooms were clean and even though we weren't in the traditional rooms the decoration was true to a more traditional style. The Hanok is a short walk away from Gwanju Songjeong station and the metro, which was perfect for day trips.

The house looks great and it’s very close to 1913 night market. Many restaurants nearby.

“A healing refuge in the middle of the city”

Dasomchae was a wonderful stay. The hanok is well kept and clean, and there is a lot of attention to detail. For example, the materials of the rooms and the bedding were high quality cotton and the name of the hanok was embroidered on it. The location is also fairly convenient as it's near the major train station and food is walking distance. You are also able to borrow a bicycle for free, although I didn't have time to try it. The owner Jae-in is very kind and has a fun personality. If you love the traditional hanok style stay, Dasomchae is full of love.
