Camp Jirisan is a very unique place, located directly at the river bed and close to the Jirisan National Park. As we were seeking for a base to start our hike, the accommodation surprised us with its peaceful surroundings. Everything is thoughtfully taken care of; the bathroom clean and the common area very nice. It’s the perfect place if you are not looking for luxury but rather grounding and feeling close to nature.

Great location, right at the entrance to the park. The busses stop closeby, the park information center is next door, several small restaurants and a convenience store. Clean and quiet at night.

Absolutely loved the location - right at the entrance to one of the most famous Buddhist Temples in Korea as well as direct access to some of the best trails in Jirisan National Park. Cheap taxi to the town if needed, but also a bus every hour so transport was not a problem. Wonderful people working there making sure you're well taken care of. Absolutely loved the river view and the calming sound every night.

Gorgeous hotel, perfect location- great for hiking. They have a free washing machine, table tennis, and pool tables!! Very lovely room and comfortable stay.

The hotel is located right at the foot of Jirisan mountains, making it ideal if you're going hiking or want to explore the area. The room was very spacious, clean and comfy, and the area is very quiet and surrounded by nature, so you can get a good rest. The hotel also has some common areas for coffee or a terrace. The staff was super friendly. There are several restaurants and cafes nearby if you want to eat-in or have take out food.

Nice room with beautiful views on the brook and the moutains. You can use the big restaurant to sit in. Very quiet (unless neighbours use their airco). Hotel is close to the mountains.

The property is conveniently located near the starting point of Nogodan hiking trail. The room was cozy, clean, and the bed and pillows were so comfortable! The dining area is spacious with a warm fireplace and kitchen to make your own food. They sell some ramen and coffee on the property.

The hotel is in 30mins walking distance to the Hwaeomsa temple. It can be very easily reached by bus from the Gurye bus terminal. There is even a direct bus to the Nogodan road rest area which serves as starting point for walks to the Nogodan pic. Other valleys of Jirisan can be reached by bus switch in Gurye. If the room lies on the right side one can enjoy the view on a rocky torrent. Very close there is an asiatic black bear recreation center. There are some simple restaurants close to the hotel.

Nice place to stay near Jirisan NP (Hwaeomsa entrance), it’s 15 min walk to the temple along the river and it’s like a small hamlet with a 7/11 and a few restaurants (but at 8pm, it’s already too late to find a place to eat - on the other hand, they still can serve really late lunch 😅). With nice weather, it would have been nice to seat on the terrace next to the river. The hotel is super clean, there’s a nice and big common area where you can prepare some simple noodles or breakfast. The guy at the hotel spoke no English but was really helpful, using our translating apps, so he could help with buses to Nogodan and taxi to train station.

“Friendly and convenient place to stay in Gurye”

The hotel is really spacious with views of a bear in the learning centre! The shared terraces and dining area are great for sketching/trip planning etc. it’s a good base if you are hiking the Jirisan Ridge - the owners are friendly and arranged us taxis when necessary but there is a direct bus route into the local town too. There are restaurants in the area opposite, although they had limited food options.

“A very nice and cozy hotel to venture out in Jirisan National Park”

We wanted to visit different spots in Jirisan National Park and found in CAMP Jirisan Parkview the perfect place to do so. It in close proximity to Hwaeomsa Temple and one of the Entrances in Jirisan National park. The rooms where nice and cozy and provided an nice and quiet place to relax after a hot summer day in the Park. We could relax by bathing our feet in the stream directly behind the hotel after a warm summer day and there where some very nice restaurants in close proximity as well. So we've got the chance to taste the famous Samgyetang Chicken Soup. The owner/staff was very helpful and had good tips for us as well as a good cup of Armericano.

Although the reception was closed when I arrived my key card had been left for me with instructions in English on how to find the room. The whole place is new and stylish and I liked the big common area. Very quiet place

Being a "camping" I didn't expect to find the room super comfortable, with a bed that was also super comfortable. The shower with an exceptional water jet. After a long journey from Seoul to Gurye with a stop in Busan, finding a nice cold bottle of water in the fridge was a blessing. A fabulous view and then just a few minutes from leaving for the Jirisan Trek from the Hwaeomsa Temple (which we were able to visit before starting the trek). If I return to Korea, I will definitely choose this accommodation again.
