Everything! The location is perfect, you are completely surrounded by nature and the sounds are magical just as are the views. Our room had the most wonderful ocean view and the staff were all very helpful. It is the very best setting with direct access to a fantastic beach.

“A beautiful eco-paradise with a unique and peaceful beach experience”

The entire facility is wonderful and very unique. It is surrounded by palm trees and nature and almost feels like a jungle, with many handmade details that make the place very beautiful. The location is fantastic, right on the beach, and you can walk directly from the restaurant onto the sand. There are no other hotels nearby, so the beach feels very private and peaceful, with cows and other animals occasionally passing by, which adds to the rural charm. The beach is very clean and well maintained, and the security staff does a great job taking care of it. There are comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas, and the staff are incredibly friendly. There are also many activities available such as renting bikes, getting a massage, doing yoga, taking trips to the fishing village, or even going on a safari. The food in the restaurant was excellent - honestly some of the best meals I had in The Gambia.

“A relaxing getaway, right on a lovely beach, friendly staff and good food but VERY limited internet”

Beautiful location right on a lovely beach. Nemasu is excellent for a relaxing off-grid break. There is a good restaurant on-site, overlooking the beach. There is a lovely garden, and the gardener gave me a guided tour, explaining what all the plants and trees are. There were monkeys playing in the garden, and outside my cabin. The staff are all very conscious of ecology and environment. Electricity is only from solar power, rubbish is recycled. There is a really calm and relaxing vibe. The staff lit a fire every evening and it was great to meet fellow-travellers around the fire. It's lovely to walk to the nearby mosque which is located right on the beach, and further to the fishing village of Gunjur.

The lodge was beautiful, clean, relaxing, safe, and the staff were super professional and welcoming. The food was great and the prices were good. As a solo traveller, all of the staff went out of their way to make sure I felt at home and were so friendly. Thanks to all 😊

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is superb and the food is good. The WiFi is intermittent. The door handle to my bungalow was broken and the door was difficult to open fully.

Wonderful place located in a quiet location on the beach. Cosy and traditionally decorated rooms, with all basic amenities. Very clean and lovely with duvets during the cold nights of the winter season. On site restaurant with a limited but good selection of food, made to order so fresh but a bit of a waiting time. Staff from the local community that are friendly and trying their best in catering for everybody.

I loved being in nature and being surrounded by nature - the sound of the birds, sea waves and the monkeys. What an incredible experience! Not forgetting a private beach with a security

Excellent location with lodges set in a jungle full of birdsong. The beautiful wild beach a stones throw away. Friendly welcoming staff. Very good restaurant. Hot water showers. I highly recommend

The staff was super. There was a lïghtproblem in the room of my mother and they did everything to fix it. They even ŵent to Gunjur to buy another battery. The fact that you could swim in the sea and how quiet it was.
