Charming house in an ideal location in the heart of the town. Amenities are not included, but can be easily purchased for a small fee. Free coffee and tea in the shared kitchen. The manager is attentive and very nice.

Great place to stay! The host is kind and shared some recommendations about where to go for food and sightseeing. The room was not too large but very comfortable for the amount paid, it was exactly (or even more) than expected!

“Nice stay in Gujo”
I slept there just for 2 nights, and I had the feeling I was the only guest in the house cause I didn't see nobody in 2 days, so not so much chance to meet new people but it is ok. The room in the guest house is big enough and confortable, You have anything you need for your stay. The host is superkind and helpful. If you want to sleep in Gujo it is a good choice

First of all, thank you so much to the owner and the manager of Tatemachi shared house for everything! I only reserved A room for one night to be able to enjoy Gujō Odori. However, the day of the check out, due to heavy rains, the roads were closed and I couldn't go back home. Thankfully, after writing a message explaining the situation, the owner rapidly answered, saying that a room was available! The manager then helped me by checking if there were no taxis available and as there were not, he prepared the room for me! The 2 rooms I stayed in were really clean and comfortable! The bathroom was also perfect! The shared house is ideally located to enjoy Gujō! And the self check-in is really easy!

Great little place, seemingly above a cafe. It was not open when I was there. Check in was easy, and the facility has everything you need. Free Wi-Fi, laundry cheaper than coin laundry, kitchen, shower, and toiletries to buy or towels to rent. I ended up in a room alone, which was nice. They are doing all they can in a small space in a tight town. I found a parking lot that would take my bike overnight. I wish I could have stayed longer. Perfect lodging in a great town.
