“The property is in a deplorable state, and poses serious risks to the health and comfort.”

View and privacy was good. I can`t say more. The host was rude and unwelcome person. The windows were locked, and when we asked how to open them, the host rudely replied, “Stop bothering me.” Further only disadvantages. The electricity in the house kept turning off every 30 minutes, even when we simply used the kettle. The stovetop was practically unusable because turning it on caused a complete power outage. The walls of the house were scratched and dirty. Most plates and cups were chipped, and the frying pans had scratched coatings, making them unsafe for cooking. The rubber seals in the showers were in terrible condition and covered in mold. One of the bedrooms had black mold under the window, which could not be opened, making it impossible to ventilate the room. We could not use this bedroom, even though we paid for a house with four bedrooms but ended up using only three. The bottom of the pool was dirty and was cleaned only the day before our departure. During the cleaning, we could not use the pool, losing precious daytime hours for relaxation. The jacuzzi was not cleaned before our arrival, and the filter was filthy. A technician added a large amount of chemicals with a strong odor the day before our departure, making the jacuzzi unusable. Despite this, the host blamed us for the jacuzzi malfunction and demanded additional cleaning fees. The small bedroom was uninhabitable due to a strong smell of dampness. The water pressure disappeared two days before our departure, making it impossible to use the showers or the jacuzzi. The host charged us for alleged damage to the billiard table, which was already in poor condition before our arrival. He also accused us of breaking the ping pong table, which we didn’t even touch. We believe the host deliberately uses such tactics to extract additional income from guests. The property does not match the photos on the booking website.

Excellent property, very spacious and wonderfully located. We're not beach people, so having a clean pool and a jakuzzi was wonderful, and we drove to Playa Del Carmen if wanted the sand. The kitchen has anything one can imagine if you like to cook, big fridge, dishwasher and having salt/oil/tea available was great. Overall lovely and quiet area and we enjoyed our time of pure chill. Location makes it close to everything - 5 min from the airport, 15 min drive to the nice beaches, 20 min to the volcano and 30 to Playa Blanca which has a better vibe for going out in the evening. Great views!
