“pleasant and friendly”
the staff (volunteers) were very friendly and accommodating! they gave us suggestions on places to go / eat and advised us on our hiking plans (there were landslide and heavy rain warnings when we were there). we also ended up chatting with them for about an hour about our countries and cultures. the room was alright for the price but i think the staff made it such a pleasant and wonderful stay :))

The place is in a good area, convenient for exploring the city, close to a bus stop and a fast train, the room was comfortable, spacious and clean. The staff is really great, everyone is really nice and helpful. Jerry was especially helpful to me. I arranged several trips through him that were even cheaper than some of the other apps. He also showed me straight away what to do in the city and recommended places worth going to. He thought of a solution to my problem with me and offered a variety of solutions. There is a pleasant and welcoming feeling here, highly recommend!

“The three people on reception were so helpful and good fun.”
Basic clean double room. Jerry and the two young women on reception were super helpful and fun! They arranged a 4 star Li river cruise at a great price. We got the city bus back but leaves 3 km from centre of Yangshuo as in photo. A short walk from main station. Definitely would stay again. Surrounded by all sorts of shops and eating places

“Good hostel and staff”

Walking distance from the railway station. And if you like walking a couple of kms, walking distance from the pagodas and the elephant hill scenic area. The hotel is comfortable and good size, beds are great. The staff at front desk is very nice and helpful, they even recommended a Guilin Rice Noodle place, ptovably one of the best i have had so far in China!very good value! Will recommend!

2 aircon units in our room. It was very comfortable especially when it was 34 degrees Celsius when we visited Guilin.

The staff are lovely, gave us a map of things to do in the area which was really helpful. The room was big and clean, good location too about 10 min walk from the train station and 20 min walk to sun and moon pagodas, elephant trunk hill, etc. we were also able to leave our luggage for a night while we went to Yangshuo which was fab so we didn’t need to lug it there just for a night before we came back :)

“A great place to stay with lovely staff”
Excellent affordable option not far from the centre of Guilin. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and fluent in English. The double room was very spacious and the water pressure in the shower was great.

“Overall, the accommodation is value for money. Staff is supportive and nice.”
The locatoon is walking distance to the mall and is near local residential area. Room size is quite large. Bed is comfitable.

Excellent location, 5 min walking from the train station and the city center. Confortable mattress and clean room. The girls from the reception are amazing, super friendly, always willing to help, this makes the stay remarkable :)

“Great place to stay”
A lovely little place to stay! We got a random free room upgrade which was a lovely surprise. Comfy clean rooms. We got our laundry done & returned to us dried in one evening for 15 yuan. The girls working at reception were lovely, welcoming and gave us helpful advice about where to go. They also serve great coffee and breakfast - 25 yuen for eggs on toast with a coffee or 28 to include bacon. Walking distance to all the landmarks, all round a great place to start our trip around China!
