We had one morning of breakfast and it was very good . The menu catered mainly to the Chinese tastebud,,; perhaps it should add a few more western items , such as frankfurters

The rooms were really nice, and the beds were massive. Everything looks flash, and the staff were lovely. The pool table at the bar was fun too! Breakfast had heaps of options.

Overall is a the usual shangrila experience, if you like this kind of stuff. Family facilities are the perk we were looking for and the reason we booked the last two nights before departure

“A good value stay”

- Convenient from the train station. - Rooms were good value, particularly for the suites. - Generally family friendly with enough at the property to entertain kids for a couple of days but it’s also no Club Med either - Great views from the room and from the Horizon Club Lounge - Food in the Horizon Lounge was solid for breakfast and in the evenings for dinner - Staff are really great. A real highlight of the stay. - The fitness centre isn’t half bad surprisingly. No smith machine or squat rack and limited range of dumbbells but there is a dual pulley machine to mostly be able to hit everything you need to hit workout wise. - pool is large, bright, roomy. Pool does get rather deep for a hotel pool so be careful if you’ve got kids.

The staff were awesome. I am Australian and my wife is Chinese. She was born in Guilin. We were visiting my wife’s family in Guilin. This is the second time we have stayed here and this trip was just as awesome as the first one. The hotel staff are all friendly right down to the cleaners. The rooms are clean and extremely comfortable. I don’t eat western food when I’m in China but they cater for all nationalities. The restaurant is top class and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Comfortable beds, good breakfast, large warm and clean swimming pool. Courteous and helpful staff. Well equipped gym.

The room was clean, and the housekeeping service was excellent. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious food options. The lunch and dinner buffets featured a great selection of dishes, at a reasonable prices. We stayed there for four nights and did not encounter any problems.

The hotel is very modern, beautiful, with very good and big rooms, excellent views of the nature, very good bathroom and a very quiet and relaxing ambience. The staff was attentive and kind. The dining room has tasty food . The breakfast experience was a little bid disapointing but in general was ok

Every thing is excellent!

Everything was really excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were looking to book train tickets for our next trip and they helped us a lot.

After changing room, we had a better outlook view. Hotel itself is not located in city centre so need to get taxi to go anywhere but transportation is close to high speed rail

Super friendly and helpful staff members, especially the porters, I felt so welcomed when they showed me to my room. The breakfast was exceptional, lots of variety and local specialities. Love the interiors, the resort has a lot of space for outdoor walks and activities with kids.
