“Overall, I enjoyed my stay.”

The location was good with plenty of restaurants and shopping stores surrounding it. The room was a nice traditional style setup with a nice tea set by the large window to enjoy the view. It was neat and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. They warn you about the noise at night, as there usually a live band that plays on the street, but I enjoyed the free entertainment.

The rooms had a real wow factor—the windows were truly incredible, offering a calm and relaxing view. The accommodation itself was excellent, with lovely showers and a cosy yet modern feel throughout. The staff were exceptionally polite, and I would especially like to mention Jenny. She was outstanding and played a big part in making my stay in Guilin such a memorable experience. No matter the time or request, she was always available and willing to help. At one point, I even left my umbrella in a taxi, and she went out of her way to arrange its delivery to another city. Many thanks for such a wonderful stay.

“Very comfortable and well located cosy hotel”

Very comfortable and well located cosy hotel. Good choice at breakfast and small afternoon tea also included on a terrace with nice river views. Comfortable and cosy rooms. Can be noisy in the evenings as there are singers and live music outside but ear plugs are provided, so no issue. We had to leave early one morning and the staff provided us good packed breakfast.

Fantastic location, bed was so soft and comfy. I had read in reviews about noise. I didn't experience that. The staff were fantastic so helpful. I don't speak Chinese and they made such an effort to use translation app also to ensure I understood. You can book trips from hotel which were very good. The breakfast catered for everyone. Hotel was very clean

Very friendly staff. Convenient to visit the city and key monuments (elephant trunk hill, sun and moon pagodas, etc) and its in front of the river. The room had a decent size and was modern.

Perfectly located close to central pedestrian street of Guilin. Breakfast homemade and very tasty. Room was sligthly small, but perfectly furnished and very nice, with a nice full window and a place for afternoon tea. Perfect hotel in Guilin!

“Superb!”

The location of the hotel is superb! Very close to the main shopping road and also just a 10/15 min walk to reach the elephant trunk hill and the pagodas. Room was clean, they changed our towels every day, and made sure that the room was spick and span. A big thank you goes to Jenny who helped us all the way from the beginning of our journey till the very end. She immediately contacted me on WhatsApp / we chat and helped us organised our 2 day trip in guilin. Our guide Tony was super helpful and funny. I also appreciated the fact that she contacted me after checking out regarding some items we forgot. Very thoughtful. She also went out of her way to check regarding our flight reservation and also helped us book other activities related to our trip! Well done! Highly recommend.

“Clean, comfortable, central location on the Li River in Guilin City”

The hotel is across the street from the Li River in Guilin city. We are particularly grateful to Jenny, the hotel's English speaking assistant, who made sure we had tickets for our boat trip down the river to Yangshuo. She also provided a lot of information on activities in the region - the Guilin tour book that Jenny sent via email was very helpful for us (first-time visitors to the region). Thank you, Jenny! The location of the hotel is good, but very busy especially in the evenings. There are lots of restaurants nearby. Many people walk-dance-exercise along the river and there is a river beach very close for swimming. We loved our room. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We had panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows to look out onto the street. The linen and towels were clean, white, and fresh.
