Great location, delicious breakfast, friendly staff, drinking water easily available, laundry detergent in the bathroom, place outside to dry washing. We loved the little tea area in our room.

The decor was exquisite. So beautiful in every respect. Excellence location across the road to the lake. The staff were exceptional. Every time we walked into the foyer they stood up and greeted us and then offered cold water. Nothing was beyond them. So helpful in booking activities and providing directions. Not a boss in sight but the girls were always smiling and welcoming. The breakfast room was delightful with an amazing view.

The hotel is a comfortable medium sized hotel, Ronghu Lake is just across the road. Bed is comfortable and room is quiet (you can hear guests in the corridor if they are not quiet). Friendly helpful staff, helped us also to plan our itinerary in Guilin. Very happy that we had chosen this hotel for our visit to Guilin

You will be a short walk to all of the major attractions within old Guilin - The staff are amazing, they will help you to ensure you have the most comfortable and convenient stay. Be sure to look into what tours they offer, we were skeptical at first but the day we spent on the river cruise and touring the area was one of our favourite experiences - The rooms are large and clean

Perfect location in front of the lake which is beautifully lit at evenings and offers nice walks. The staff speaks English, which is quite rare. Room and hotel were nicely decorated. A small tea room with a tea-set for xour private tea ceremony was great. The beds were comfortable and the hotel and the area were quiet at nights. Definitely the best hotel during our 2-week vacations.

“Great hotel. Good value for money”

Lovely quirky hotel right on the lake. Excellent friendly staff who brought us some milk on 2 days so we could enjoy english tea in the room! Had all our laundry done. 2 complete weeks of washing for 100cny. Air conditioning was very effective. Lovely clean room. Breakfast was on par with many of the smaller Chinese hotels. Umbrellas in the lobby for guests to use. Great location.

A very lovely stay here. The staff were so friendly and helpful and spoke brilliant English. The hotel is in a great location, and it’s such a pretty and interesting building. The room was great and the shower was particularly good. We also enjoyed the tea and the delicious breakfast.

We loved the feel of this hotel - very friendly, helpful staff with excellent English. Nothing was too much bother. The breakfast was very good. The setting is right near the lakes, so lovely for walks, entertainment and shopping. The hotel is full of beautiful art and scultures. This boutique hotel felt very peaceful and the staff were lovely. We highly recommend it.

Staff was very friendly and kind, helping with tickets for the cruise. Room was great with amenities for tea ceremony. There is a good view from breakfast room.
