Amazing place, views and facilities. We have been upgraded to a 3-room appartment with sea view (a real penthouse!) Breakfast was really nice and staff super friendly. Also, a shuttle to go to the beach is available and the pools are really great!

We were upgraded to a two bedroom suite which had excellent views. There were always sun loungers with towels available at the three different pools. The pools were heated which made it enjoyable to use them even though the weather wasn’t great. Breakfast was extensive, varied and high quality. The wait staff (David, Michele and Fernando) in Tagara restaurant were extremely welcoming and provided excellent service.

We had three children so having so much space for them was great. We all loved the hot tub having a kids club was also something they enjoyed on one of the days

Overall the trip was fantastic and we loved our stay at Las Terrazas de Abama. Our favourite things were: - The room itself: We were fortunate enough to get a two bed suite upon arrival and it was probably the best one in the resort! I can't imagine it getting any better. Very well equipped, lots of utensils, and great bathrooms. Everything was very comfortable and the balconies were very well used. - Breakfast: sensational, both in quality and in quantity. Everything that you could want in a breakfast with good service. We never felt in a rush to get out. Loved being able to order a small hot breakfast and also visit the buffet. The choice every morning was fantastic and lovely and fresh. Pastries, fruit, yogurt, cereal, meats and cheeses, as much coffee, tea, water and fruit juice as you could drink. - The facilities: the whole resort is beautifully maintained. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful gardening and the variety of plants and flowers. There were four pools to choose from, but we stuck to the top pool beside our suite. The pool had great views, fresh towels upon arrival, and plenty of loungers available. We also enjoyed a Challenger Tennis Tournament being on at the time of our visit. We were treated to free tickets as guests which was a nice surprise throughout the visit. The shuttle service is also incredibly convenient to get to the different restaurants or to the Ritz Carlton. Golf course is WORLD CLASS - for someone on the fence about playing - it is worth every penny. - Tágara Restaurant: This deserves its own bullet on the review. One of the best restaurants we've ever been to. The food was exceptional and the service was top class. Really appreciated the welcoming atmosphere when we visited, and it would be one of the top reasons that we would return to Las Terrazas de Abama. - The QUIET: This is an incredibly peaceful place to relax for a week. We loved the serenity of the whole resort

Clean, well appointed apartment. Good breakfast provided at the golf clubhouse. Convenient for golf, tennis and padel. Good supermarket on site. Good views of golf course, sea and Gomera. Good restaurants on site.

“The lack of basic management, poor communication, and repeated operational failures made this stay extremely frustrating”

Very bad experience. First, they tried to charge me extra, but after I sent my booking confirmation, they realised it was their mistake. I could not get hold of the reception for almost 24 hours, as no one was responding. On one occasion, the receptionist even hung up the call during the conversation. In addition, my room key card was not working, and it took almost two hours for them to fix the issue, as every new card they issued also failed. Breakfast was very poor. Based on my experience, I do not believe the 9+ rating on Booking.com reflects the real service quality.

“Great location, good weather, great appartment!”

Location is exceptional, weather was good. We had a 3-bed apartment which was perfect and was much the best of the layouts we have tried. Breakfast was great and very enjoyable on the terrace. Las Jardines is also a great location and a good breakfast. The on site shuttle worked well for us, but maybe were just lucky. The driving range has been improved and one of the guys staffing it was very friendly and helpful, unfortunately one or two of the others in the golf setup have not been introduced to basic skills in customer service.

Beautiful resort, quiet and in a lovely location. Apartments are spacious, tasteful and very clean.

This is a beautiful resort in a great quiet location. There is a beautiful beach nearby (shuttle service is provided by the hotel) and there are also wonderful heated pools. Breakfast with a wide variety of options .
