“Historically an important town and a lovely region to visit and explore”
Modern, clean comfortable accommodation, in a quiet location on the edge of town. Handy for regular bus and train connections to other parts of the region. Free parking around the accommodation. Helpful and friendly host that responded to my messages promptly and efficiently.

“A nice apartment in a quiet new neighbourhood a few kilometres from the historical centre.”
A new apartment with good facilities. Too bad we only got to stay one night. Parking was easy and free just on the street. There was a nice café for breakfast just around the corner (Ai Ene).

“We enjoyed our experince in the Basque country of Spain. Basque culture and people are great.”
Great place for a calm holdiay. Close enough to the centre of town that a walk to the market, shops, bars and restaurants takes only 10 to 20 minutes. Far enough away from all the bars, restaurants etc that it is calm at night. a bakery across the street, a nice restaurant behind the lodgings. And one of Guernika's three train stations is only 5 minutes by foot. The train offers easy access to BIlbao as well as up the coast to beaches and to Bermeo. Easy parking on the street or in nearby parking lots. Very family friendly with many parks for the children.
