Very interesting interior and unique building with beautiful view into the valley. Fruit trees all around very pieceful. Felt a bit like being on a filmset Lea and her partner were very helpful and make it the perfect spot to recover from city troubles.

If youre in to hiking, you’re right on the stunning trails of Barranco San Juan - Cortijo del Hoyo-Haza Mesa-Refugio San Francisco and Sendero Viejo Güejar/Peñones. Check it out on Wikiloc. It’s not a hotel, it’s Real MUSEUM! Every detail inside pushing you hundred years ago. It was even unexpected to receive such great experience! The view to the mountains was perfect! Just 20 minutes by car to Sierra Nevada Main Parking!

We had the most magical stay at Cortijo Los Arbolitos 🍒 My husband and I came for a few days of hiking and nature, and this place exceeded every expectation. The house itself is a dream—rustic charm meets thoughtful comfort. You can truly feel the love and care in every corner. Every detail, from the decor to the amenities, was carefully chosen and beautifully maintained. Waking up in the middle of the mountains, with the fresh scent of nature all around, was unforgettable. The cherry garden was absolutely magical and don't even get me starting on those starry nights :) The hikes nearby were stunning—raw, quiet, and full of wild beauty. After a long day walking, seeing wild animals, coming back to this cozy home and taking a hot bath was just perfect. It doesn’t feel like a rental, it feels like staying in someone’s beloved family home. Thank you, Lea, for creating such a special place. PS. There are mosquito nets, beds are comfy and there is no need for AC as you are in mountains ;)

A beautiful house with beautiful views. Lea was most welcoming and helpful It’s not too far from Sierra Nevada (though google tells you different) The bathroom was great, there’s a communal living room and kitchen which were practical The bedroom was very comfy and nice and warm

“Cortijo Los Arbolitos is just perfect!”

Cortijo Los Arbolitos is an absolute hidden gem in the Sierra Nevada! If this place doesn’t make you happy, then I don’t know what will. The Cortijo is full of warm atmosphere and is placed on a mountainhill with beautiful view! Pure relaxation and surrounded by lot’s of animals. Lea is the owner and the best host you can get, I had some questions and requests and she didn’t mind at all to answer them all. Also has some good tips for wat to do and tip for restaurant (Casa Chiquito). Everything was perfect from the arrival to the check out. We even forgot some of our stuff and without hesitation she took care of it to send it. So yes, This place is an absolute blast, satisfaction guaranteed! We will come back for sure. WAUW!

“Gorgeous home, helpful hostess, beautiful location.”

We had some problems getting to the facility and had had a pretty miserable day. The owner of the shared house was wonderful and went out of her way to make the end of our day much better than the journey to get there. She definitely went above and beyond. Additionally, the house is just beautiful with lots of wonderful textural touches that make it a real pleasure to stay in. The beds were very comfortable, and the amenities just to our liking. We highly recommend staying there if you are in the area and don't mind driving some mountain roads to get there.

The location is absolutely beautiful with stunning views of the mountains which can be enjoyed from the balcony (where the sun rises). The rooms are comfortable and the communal area is spacious and airy with luscious views. The kitchen is well-equipped with extras like spices, teas and coffee which is a lovely touch. We also sampled some delicious vegetables from the garden. Thank you for a lovely stay.

“A wonderful and beautiful mountain retreat”

The location is stunning overlooking the higher parts of the Sierra Nevada National Park. The accommodation is wonderful with amazing terraces. It is so quiet and peaceful. We slept so well. No AC needed, it was cooler at night than down in Granada. Lea was the perfect host with gorgeous dogs and was so kind. She set us up with a mountain guide for wonderful via ferrata.

Cooking facilities ok, but not good,especially if you are a group
