The house was really nice and the room was big and very comfortable, and there was also space to store bicycles inside. The breakfast was included and was very good. The hosts were very kind, very open to talk about any kind of topic and they let me join them for dinner in some of the days for a small fee.

Availability, Nicole wait for me even if I was the only one guest, arriving late evening. everything was set up properly, I had the possibility to choose what to have for breakfast too and was even larger than expected and well assorted! a peaceful environment, welcoming people, a stay I will recommend to everyone.

If you are looking for a quite, basic and slightly secluded place to charge up your batteries and explore Bornholm pick this place. The accomodation is the essentials, which i prefer, its clean, very well kept and tidy. I think a better place is hard to come by. I will for sure be back.

“Cosy and quite a quit retreat”

Everything was great. Spotless clean. Cosy. Comfortable. The hosts are extremely welcoming, and the breakfast was just fabulous. I was stranded due to the ferry being cancelled, and just wanted a cheap place to crash. What I found at Yggdrasil was just so much more. Wow... (Usually I try to avoid places with shared bathrooms. But being as extremely nice and clean as they are here, that didn't bother me at all)

The facilities were super clean and cosy. The location in the countryside was quiet and relaxing. With the host we had a nice discussion during the evening. I can highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay for a night. I used Yggdrasil Guest Lodge as an over night stay as part of a 2 day cycle trip around the Island as it was just about half way. Super friendly and accomodating host, nice new rooms, excellent facilities. Large area to store bikes if needed. A real retreat away from busy day to day life. Also an excellent peronally prepared breakfast, perfect start to see you through a long day's cycling.

What an unexpected gem of a place. If you're looking for spiritual calm or just a lovely place to contemplate the lovely Bornholm scenery this inland delight is a great option and phenomenally good value for money compared to the competition. While the bathroom was separate, it was nonetheless only for the use of my room. The house has a sustainable policy to energy and a local produce approach to the unexpectedly delicious breakfast. The owner goes out of her way to assist guests and is herself something of a spiritual teacher - the guesthouse being home to bespoke mini-retreats on request.

We had a marvelously pleasant stay of two nights in this quiet retreat. Nicky, our host, gave us valuable tips for exploring the island. We especially recommend the typical round churches one of which is quite close to Yggdrasil. Breakfast - prepared lovingly by our host - was delicious ("real" green tea in a tea pot, homemade bread and yoghurt and much more). The whole atmosphere of the place was enchanting.
