Excellent location on the ski route, clean and an excellent breakfast

Location is ski in ski out close to the ski lift and right by the night ski, Luca who works in the bar was lovely and George on reception were amazing! If you have George taking care of you you are lucky. Annie at the ski rented was also lovely.

The stuff is great. Helped to find my boots that someone took from the ski room. Moreover, they provided me with free boots while searching for mine. The location is great, with direct access to the lift. Breakfasts are great.

They have direct exit to the ski resort, which makes things very easy and quick. The slope is the green one, so it is easy to warm up. The breakfast is very decent and tasty, we were excited to see what they prepared every morning!

The location is perfect, right at the first ski trail. You can ski out of the hotel. The staff is super nice. The friendliest staff members I've encountered so far.

I’ve skied several times in Gudauri … and will certainly return to Hotel Donata. The location is just perfect. Ski in/out and a short walk to ski rental (arranged by the hotel, with discount), lift pass sales and chairlift. There's a room at the hotel set aside for skis and boots. My bedroom with mountain views was bright, comfortable and spotlessly clean. There's a kettle in the room but not tea/coffee - remember to bring your own or buy at the nearby supermarket. This isn’t a luxury hotel, but a well-run family establishment that offers personal service and a warm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly, helpful staff - special thanks to Anuka and Georgi for making my stay so special. The Donata’s bar, with log fire, floor-to-ceiling windows and soft sofas, was a perfect place to unwind, enjoy a drink (and meal - the borsch was terrific) while watching the sun go down behind the stunning mountains of Gudauri. I found dinner tasty and reasonably-priced while the included breakfast, served in the hotel dining room, was all I needed for a day on the mountain. The hotel has a sun-facing terrace with outstanding views. If it’s bars and nightlife you’re after, you might be drawn to New Gudauri ten minutes drive up the hill. Having said that, the Donata is a short walk from several restaurants, supermarket and the bus stop if you are catching the marshrutka to/from Tbilisi. And it still manages to be in a quiet, safe spot away from the main road. Overall, the Donata delivered excellent value for money, exceeded my expectations and ticked all the boxes for an ideal ski getaway. Highly recommended.

The staff at the hotel were very warm and welcoming. They helped with ski rentals and other recommendations. They also gave me some great information on the history of Georgia and the fantastic wines of the country!

Perfect location: you ski down to Pirveli lift right from the hotel. Grocery and pharmacy are also near. And perfect breakfast with multiple choice.
