Hotel San Marco is set in medieval Gubbio, just a short walk from Piazza Quaranta Martiri. Offering free WiFi, the property is set in a 14th-Century building with large courtyard gardens. “Third visit and as good as before”
The location of the San Marco could not be better,close to the wonderful town of Gubbio Room was always clean and well maintained In reception Roberta was always willing to help,and always cheerfull The rest of staff were also very helpful This was our third visit to the San Marco and just as good as previous two

Lovely hotel making a good start for our pilgrim journey. I was very happy that our room had a traditional bath rather than a shower. We had to pay extra for breakfast but it was nice. The rooms were furnished in traditional style with a beautiful area for reading near the reception desk.

A great location – stepping out of the hotel, you are immediately in Gubbio’s historic center. The hotel is very beautiful, and the room was clean and tidy, without any complaints. A big plus – although paid, there is a large parking lot right in front of the hotel entrance.

“Good location for a fair price”
Good central hotel with professional and helpful staff. Additional fee of €10 to use the parking garage for one motorcycle (quite expensive), but this was against a reasonable room price and decent breakfast at €8 per person. Bed was comfortable if you don’t mind a firm mattress and the room was blessedly cool with quiet air con.

Hotel san marco is a very well located hotel, in a beautiful building and with breakfast in a reasonable price. Parking nearby was easy. The room was spacious and the managers accomodating.

Great place to stay for the night as we did the via Di Francesco walk. Right next to historical part of Gubbio and also right on the via Di Francesco walking track! We paid for the breakfast which was very good.

Even though I stayed only for one night, I can strongly recommend this hotel. It's quite close to the city centre, the staff is extremely nice and helpful, while the room was quiet and comfortable. The parking is free and very close to the hotel.
