Brilliant apartment in a brilliant location. The hosts were absolutely amazing and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The food is great, everything is homemade and grown in the garden. I will definitely come back if I'm nearby ever again!

“Blissful stay near Gubbio”
We couldn't believe how lucky we were to find this place! Right from the start everything was perfect. We arrived at about 9pm, later than we had expected, and were greeted warmly by the owner and given the most wonderfully welcome home-cooked meal, despite the late hour. Our 'room' was actually a flat, with two bedrooms, a kitchen/living room and a bathroom. The beds were super comfy, everything was immaculately clean, and the views were gorgeous. We were there in March and we would love to come back for a longer stay in summer, and enjoy the pool as well.

“Welcoming and friendly with owners who really care”
We had the most wonderful stay at Casale Rancaglia and cannot rate it more highly. Andrea went above and beyond to be helpful and did everything possible to make sure that we enjoyed our stay and got the most from the area. He took great care to plan a couple of walks for us which were excellent and recommended several places to visit. This place is friendly, welcoming and relaxed and nothing is too much trouble. The food was also excellent and the views were breathtaking.

“Wonderful farmhouse accommodation in glorious countryside”
Location, views, excellent room, well appointed, log fire laid each day for us on colder nights. Superb home-grown and home-cooked food in plenty...lovely innovative dishes using wild herbs and own fruit and vegetables plus fresh eggs from own chickens. Andrea and Rosa were so kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

“Very beautiful place to stay”
We loved our stay. The location is good with easy trips to Perugia, Gubbio and Assisi. We had no problem finding the place with good directions provided. The setting is great with a beautiful view. Excellent food and wine, great pool and the best hospitality.

An amazing accomodation surrounded by nature, but also just a few minutes from the village. The hosts Andrea and his sweet mum Rosa provided us with all we needed, including special meals for us since we were there on a sports adventure. Room was very spacious and spotlessly clean! We were 5 adults in the room, and they also provided us with extra hairdryers. Thank you Andrea and Rosa for a memorable stay.

Very friendly and welcoming.Lovely setting.Fresh cooked meals.The bread and pasta is made from their own grain and we enjoyed it freshly baked every morning.Good comfy beds.It was good to come back after a hot day and cool off in the pool and know you could enjoy a good evening meal at Casale Rancaglia

“Wonderful farmhouse on a beautiful spot with great hosts.”
We stayed with our dog at this wonderful farmhouse for 5 days. It's the perfect location, close to the highway, to explore the historic cities of Umbrië such as Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio and a lot more. Also the lake of Trasimeno was easily to reach. it's a beautiful located farmhouse, on the top of a hill and in the middle of the nature with a great view on the country. The accommodation itself is absolutely perfect, with great rooms and a unique breakfast- and dining-room. We enjoyed a room with a kitchen, a living room and a separate bed- and bathroom. Everything we needed was available. The farmhouse is very dog friendly, as the owner has to very sweet dogs himself. The Agriturismo is run by Andrea and his mother Rose, two extremely sweet, friendly and helpful people, always prepared to give you advise on anything you need. They have their own small restaurant, mainly for the overnight guests. The food (produced from their own land) is just fabulous. Rose is a wonderful cook and clearly prepared the diners with lots of love. We couldn't ask for anything more and will definitely come back here. We're very grateful to Andrea and Rose and wish them very well.

The food was amazing using local ingredients especially the homemade pasta and eating in a beautiful setting every night (carbonara with truffle was especially nice). Andrea was very welcoming, friendly and helpful making sure we and all the other guests were looked after. It is in a good location to visit Gubbio, Assisi and Perugia and located at the top of a hill so did get a breeze in summer.
