Overview
Just 7 blocks from City Mall shopping centre, this cheerful and budget hostel has a charming terrace area and patio with plants and birds. There are hammocks for relaxing and a small soaking pool in the courtyard. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Dreamkatpure Hostel has colourful rooms with shared or private bathrooms with hot water showers. Some of the rooms feature air conditioning. The famous riverside boulevard, Malecon 2000, is a 15-minute drive away. Taxis to the city and to Jose Joaquin Olmedo airport, 5 km away, can be arranged.

“Pretty decent, would recommend”
Decent place, I liked it. Booked mainly as a base to arrange Galapagos trip, good internet which allowed me to do so. Extended my stay a few times as sorting Galapagos took longer than I'd planned, good I could pay by card. Some restaurants close by, also good kitchen I could use. Really nice communal areas, both inside and out, lovely garden space and nice pool. Staff were friendly and helpful, includes a little breakfast which I always think is a nice thing. Clean place

“Perfect stay for one night before flying from Guayaquil airport”
Very helpful and friendly host. Room and bathroom were clean. I was lucky to have the dorm all for myself :)

“Good place!”
I took a private room and the bed was clean, comfortable and cosy. The room had a desk & a lamp which I liked. The reception staff was very helpful and friendly. Felt safe & there's food nearby. Free simple breakfast.

“Nice stay”
Staff were knowledgable, friendly and happy to help with all parts of my stay. I stayed a few more nights than originally planned. I enjoyed that it was a calm relaxed place with everything you need for a short stay. It was value for money a 15-20 min uber from the main landmarks and places of interest in a safe location. Has some good local food nearby. Massive thanks to the team working here 😄

They arranged a yellow taxi to take me to the airport and it cost $5. I thought I had to use the private car service they offer... Which I feel is expensive for a solo traveller considering the hostel is close to the airport
