Overview
Life Builders is a Christian mission renting out rooms to care for their widows and orphans program. We are located in the south of Guatemala City just a 5-minute drive from Guatemala City International Airport. Free coffee, purified water, and WiFi. Each room will provide you with a balcony and a patio. There is a kitchen with a microwave and a refrigerator an outdoor seating area and bed linen.. You can enjoy mountain view and city view from the room. At Life Builders you will find a garden, a terrace and a shared kitchen. Other facilities offered at the property include laundry facilities.

“Perfect stopover near the airport”
Welcoming stay. We only stopped overnight between transfers to/from the airport so didn't see the area but great value for money and helpful staff. We'll be returning before we leave and making sure we have breakfast!

“Hostel cancelled on me”
I did not get to stay here, despite a confirmed booked. I had to cancel at the request of the hostel, but they have failed to approve my cancellation. In the end I found a great place on AirBnB. They would have got a 5/10 if they had approved my cancellation as they promised.

We stayed there a night after landing in Guatemala. Super nice ppl, good hospitable ambiance, nice breakfast. Everyone was very helpful, the price was quite decent and knowing the money is used to help the community is a great bonus.

“Very pleasant place to stay away from the business of the city while still being close.”
The location was great because it was close to the air port. There is a nice little bakery directly across the street. Great views. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great value.

A very very clean and cosy house with a great view over the aerea south Guatemala-City. Although near to the airport no noise! A quiet place! Hot showers Very safe. Shops in the neighbourhod. Busstation nearby. Very wonderful and helpful people .!!!

Great little hostal with amazing views of the volcanos. Neat balcony that overlooks the city and watch the planes landing. Staff are very welcoming.

“Very close to disastrous.”
They sent conflicting messages. They said they’d arrange an Uber as I couldn’t from where I was. Then, when I finally arrived, on day 1 of my trip to Guatemala, the place was closed “because the guy probably didn’t want to work Christmas Eve”.

Given the protests happening, I was alone and I booked 1 night stay in Guatemala city before heading out. The owner doesn't speak any English but he was very friendly and tried to accommodate as much as possible. Everything was clean. Would recommend if you need a place to stay near the airport.

Love the proximity to airport - the shuttle servie - and watching the planes from the great view of hostel - even made a tiktok video at place. https://www.tiktok.com/@francine.long/video/7227505096618249478 the great people working at hostel - and the breakfast was delicious. Nice showers/facility, dark room, and bed was very comfortable.

“Perfect Commuter between Airport/Guatemala City going to other Guatemala Destinations”
I booked this place now once for me and for my friend to stay as he was flying in to Guatemala City. It's very convenient inbetween airport + other Guatemala destinations. The staff is excellent - offering shuttles from airport. Breakfast is offered - the view of the city I like. could watch the planes from airport all day. I like that there is option for private transportation from hostel.
